UNDERSTANDING is like a huge floodlight; it enables you see clearly. When men have no understanding they see EXTRAMARITAL AFFAIRS as fun because they have a very dim and obscured view of it.
But when they have the light of Understanding, they see not only the few minutes of polluted pleasure that it promises but the full and stark naked view of it’s cataclysmic and far reaching consequences that include shame, disgrace, venereal diseases, emotional trauma, abandonment by friends, loss of hard-earned reputation, etc.
Understanding enables you to see things the way God sees them. It’s this ability that God’s Word transfuse into you when you give time to reading, hearing and meditating on it daily.
The entrance of God’s Word into your heart transforms your mind, changes your thinking pattern and your total approach to life.
