THE BIBLE TELLS US THAT EVERY SCRIPTURE was GIVEN by the inspiration of God and that includes our anchor scripture for today. It’s command, seemingly unspiritual on the surface, yet comes from the wellsprings of the deep wisdom of God and the Bible tells us that it’s profitable (1 Timothy 3:16)
The BREASTS of the wife irrespective of their shape or size have been given to Spouses to engage in enriching their mutual love lives and as they do, it brings several benefits into their mutual as well as their individual lives.
Our anchor scripture tells Husbands to get SATISFACTION from the BREASTS of their wives. If there were no satisfaction to be gained, God would not tell husbands to seek it from the BREASTS. Mothers nourish their infants with the breasts and as they do from day to day, the child gets bonded to them more than to anyone else in the family. The child enjoys satisfaction and nourishment and the mother enjoys the privilege of being the baby’s most preferred person in the family. I believe that this same pattern will play out when Spouses obey this scripture: new and stronger bonding will form between them.
