IN THE LIFE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, YOU DON’T REGRESS YOU PROGRESS. That’s what the first verse of our anchor scripture passage is saying. What’s called “the path of the righteous” in that verse is simply “THE LIFE OF THE RIGHTEOUS”; and that includes his Love Life which is his Marriage.

As a Believer, you’re completely different from Unbelievers and so should your Marriage.

Your Matrimonial life should get stronger, sweeter and richer with each passing day. It should be like the Sun that shines mildly at dawn but gets brighter and brighter until it’s illumination becomes exceedingly strong at midday. That’s how your relationship with your Spouse should be. There’s no place for a “Sunset” in your love world.

To experience this kind of Marriage, you must personally believe Proverbs 4:18 as God’s perfect will for your personal Love Life. As a Believer your physical Body is different from those of unbelievers. It’s NOW a magnificent temple indwelt by God:

“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? FOR YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD; AS GOD HATH SAID, I WILL DWELL IN THEM, AND WALK IN THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, and they shall be my people.”

Therefore, when you hear unsaved people talking about the so-called midlife crisis, know that you have nothing to do with it. When they say that Sex Life declines from Age 40, vehemently reject it in your heart because that’s not your portion. You’re of another bloodline. The Blood of Christ has redeemed you! And by that redemption, you’re a partaker of the divine nature(2 Peter 1:4). You belong to the spiritual lineage of Abraham, the man who was so sexually virile he started a new family at over 140 years of age.

Anchor your love life on God’s Word.

As a born again married woman, when you hear unsaved women talk of how they cunningly use sexual deprivation to arm twist their husbands to do their biddings, flee from them. If you make friends with such women, it’s only a matter of time and you’ll be corrupted. Sexual intimacy was never intended by God to be a bargaining tool. It’s a solemn covenant act that unites you and your husband all the more, making your One Flesh bond stronger each time you perform it.
