YESTERDAY, WE LOOKED AT TWO SCRIPTURALLY valid grounds for remarriage. Today, we are looking at some more and they are as follows:

(1) WHEN THERE’S A GRAND DECEPTION OR COVER-UP WHERE THE MAN IS A EUNUCH BUT CONCEALED IT FROM THE WOMAN BEFORE MARRIAGE.

Another valid ground for marriage dissolution and remarriage is when there’s been a grand deception that makes the marriage impossible to be consummated. Put another way, we’re talking about a situation where

a man who knows that he is a Eunuch marries a wife, only for her to discover after the wedding that he never gets an erection. In such a situation, the woman has divine backing to leave the union. It has happened to a number of women. I personally know of no less than four cases.

In marriage, male potency is not just important but CRITICALLY IMPERATIVE. This is because after all the outward ceremonies of marriage have been fulfilled, the couple also need to do the bedroom ceremony which creates the ONE FLESH BOND of marriage. When the man is unable to perform this duty over a period of time, then it could be safely concluded that he is a Eunuch.

If a man is a Eunuch, whether by birth or castration or some form of accident, he ought not to marry; and if he does desire to be married, perhaps for social or any other reason, he ought to open up to his Fiancé during courtship so she would make an informed and well-thought-out decision on whether or not she could survive the tempests of sexual temptations that she would face in a sexless marriage.

The Bible says:

“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, AND SHALL CLEAVE UNTO HIS WIFE: and they shall be one flesh.”(Genesis 2:24 KJV)

The “CLEAVING” meant in the verse above is basically sexual intercourse. That’s what makes spouses one flesh. When the husband is impotent and unable to have sex with his wife, the relationship is not a marriage but mere coexistence because the “one flesh bond” is not formed.

In such a case, the woman is free to leave the so-called marriage and remarry.

(2) A GRAND DECEPTION IN WHICH THE MAN OR WOMAN HAS A SPOUSE ELSEWHERE BUT PRETENDED TO BE SINGLE AND SUCCESSFULLY “MARRIED” THEIR NEW WIFE OR HUSBAND

I’ll explain this ground for remarriage with the following true life story.

One of my Spiritual Fathers had two class mates in the Bible School, who fell in love and were to wed. On their Wedding Day, my Spiritual Father lovingly honoured them by being their Wedding Day Chauffeur/Driver .

As husband and wife in Ministry, they were posted to the same Church each time. In every parish they pastored, she was a thorn in the flesh of her husband and their local Church as she would fight church members. Just imagine an ordained Female Pastor fighting parishioners!

This continued for years and her husband was helpless as in every new station they were posted her character remained unchanged.

Then one day, the “Cat” sneaked out of the bag! Her hidden secret came out. And what was it? She was another man’s wife! She left her husband, found her way into the Bible School to rebrand. She spoke like a Believer, danced like Believers and warmed her way into the heart of one of the unsuspecting male students.

Upon this discovery, the church authorities dissolved the marriage and the tormented and exhausted Pastor was set free to remarry.

After he remarried, he told my Spiritual Father, “I HAVE JUST COME OUT OF A GREAT BATTLEFIELD!” Thank God he survived. Many didn’t.

I know of two other cases like the one above which space would not permit me to write here. On the whole, when people are WILLFULLY DECEIVED into marriage, something is gravely wrong and they have the freedom to leave upon their discovery of the deceit.

(3) A VOODOO OR ENCHANTMENT MARRIAGE

In the engrossing book titled: OCCULT GRANDMASTER NOW IN CHRIST, the Author tells the real life story of a man who suddenly became himself again after many years of being under a powerful spell. As he regained himself, he wondered out aloud how in the world he came to where he was(his supposed home)! He looked at the woman that was beside him and said, “I can remember seeing you twelve years ago. Who brought me here?” He wondered because he couldn’t remember ever marrying her at any time. Because of the tumult of his loud agitations, neighbours gathered and wanted to know the truth of what the man was saying. It was then the woman who was his Wife openly confessed that she used occultic powers to enchant him into Marriage. The occultic powers have to be renewed from time to time but she missed the last renewal ritual and that’s why the man regained himself! And do you know what? They already had about four children!

Is this a Marriage? No! IT’S A SATANIC CAGE. The man was captured and caged by the woman! The Psalmist said: “OUR SOUL IS ESCAPED AS A BIRD FROM THE SNARE OF THE FOWLERS: THE SNARE IS BROKEN, AND WE ARE ESCAPED.” (Psalm 124:7)

Only God broke the snare for this man to escape. He was free to run away from that fetish woman and remarry!

Spouses who have been grandly deceived like any of the cases above have the liberty under God to prayerfully seek God’s direction on how to find His “perfect-will” Partner and remarry. But make sure you don’t use this teaching as an opportunity to run away from your marriage when none of the above “grounds” apply to you.

🍷🍗 TAKE-HOME LESSON: THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DECEIVED, CONNED OR VOODOOED INTO MARRIAGE, AS IN ANY OF THE CASES CITED ABOVE, HAVE THE LIBERTY TO LEAVE AND REMARRY.
