TODAY, I HEARD A WOMAN SAYING THAT it’s not fair that in Marriage, after a while, they the wives, begin to look older than their husbands while the men are looking younger and even getting more handsome. She felt women are cheated.
Her observation is true. Wives age faster than their husbands in many marriages. But there’s something the woman didn’t say that I’ll add. It’s the fact that, as the wife is aging and the husband is looking radiant and “executive”, this is the time Strange Women, alias “Husband Snatchers”, seek to capture him from his wife’s bosom, breaking her heart and leaving her in tears.
A Brother in Christ once told me of a Sister that was well known to him whose husband grew fresher and more handsome while she looked older. And then a Strange Woman swooped down like a hawk and seized him. He forsook his wife and children and the woman took him with her to a West African country where she lived. It took fervent prayers and intercessions for the Sister’s husband to escape the iron grips of the woman and return to his wife and children!
Dear Christian housewife, God is on your side and His will is for you to enjoy your husband to the end. His Word says:
“They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands”(Isaiah 65:22)
Every fresh looking and handsome husband was fed, taken care of and nourished by the wife for years to have the “executive looks” he now has. It’s wrong for some greedy and covetous girl to come out from no where and grab him for herself.
However, since we live in a warring world where it’s every person’s duty to protect what they have, it becomes important for every wife to know that, she must be vigilant and keep her husband’s heart in the grasp of her love or else she may lose him.
HOW TO KEEP YOUR HUSBAND’S HEART IN THE GRASP OF YOUR LOVE:
(1) WALK IN KNOWLEDGE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR HUSBAND
Always bear in mind that Man was first created before the woman and He’s vested with the Power to RULE OVER YOU in Marriage(Genesis 3:16) and God expects you recognize your husband’s authority as coming from God and yield to it (Rom.13:1).
Therefore, accord your husband reverence and worshipful love(Psalm 45:10-11).
When you do this, your husband’s heart will be glued to you because every Ruler loves his loyal subjects. But if you’re rebellious to him, his heart will stray from you(Proverbs 21:9,19) and another woman will capture him, even against own his will.
(2) SUBMIT YOURSELF TO YOUR HUSBAND IN ALL THINGS
This is demanded from you by God in Ephesians(5:22-2). The truth is that SUBMISSION isn’t slavery as most women fear but your proper response to your husband in the marriage relationship. Submission consolidates your Throne in the marriage as a wife.
(3) ALWAYS KEEP YOUR LEGS OPEN TO YOUR HUSBAND
Sex is a very powerful means of holding your husband’s heart in the grasp of your love.
It’s something that God designed and planned for him to have with no other woman on Earth but you alone. On no condition must you make the mistake of starving him in this area. When you do so, you’re openly inviting Strange Women to have him.
Be a good love maker and love giver in your marriage. When you are, your husband’s heart will be glued to you; and your closeness will renewed and cemented again and again until it becomes fortified and formidable.
(4) CLEANLINESS AND LOVELINESS
When you see yourself aging while your husband is looking more handsome, don’t get afraid and fret. Along with points 1-3 above, give attention to your bodily form and appearance. Don’t look ancient and archaic when your husband is shining.
Be clean all the time. Look well bathed, fresh and smell fragrant. Let your mouth be super-clean and kissable all the time. Make yourself attractive and desirable to him.
(5) PRAY FOR YOUR HUSBAND CONSTANTLY
As a wife, you have the important role of being your husband’s INTERCESSOR. You know him better than everyone else except God his Creator.
Pray for him daily. Your prayer can keep him from meeting evil women. Your prayers can render spells and incantations that are fired by strange women to return to their sender. Pray for your husband. The more successful he is, the more you need to pray for him.
