BUILDING A MARRIAGE THAT’S A SWEET COLONY OF HEAVEN ON EARTH!

Scripture:
‘THROUGH WISDOM A HOUSE IS BUILT,AND BY UNDERSTANDING IT IS ESTABLISHED; BY KNOWLEDGE THE ROOMS ARE FILLEDWITH ALL PRECIOUS AND PLEASANT RICHES. THE LORD BY WISDOM HATH FOUNDED THE EARTH; BY UNDERSTANDING HATH HE ESTABLISHED THE HEAVENS. BY HIS KNOWLEDGE THE DEPTHS ARE BROKEN UP, AND THE CLOUDS DROP DOWN THE DEW.’
(Proverbs 24:3-4, Proverbs 3:19-20)

A LOOK AT OUR ANCHOR SCRIPTURE PASSAGES easily show you that it takes following God’s example to build and enjoy a successful Marriage. All you need do is use Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge. Of course, the Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge referred to are not human certificates and degrees. They’re divine.

Perhaps, you’re wondering how you would ever find them. God’s Word shows they’re within your easy reach:

“6 For the Lord giveth WISDOM : out of his mouth cometh KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING .” (Proverbs 2:6)
This means that the WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE for building a happy Marriage are in the Word of God. Put more plainly, the commandments and instructions of God on Marriage constitute the Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge for building a happy Marriage!

When the husband loves his wife selflessly, sacrificially and supremely as commanded in Ephesians 5: 25 -29, he is using Wisdom Understanding and Knowledge to build his Marriage. He is not “a woman wrapper” as the world and it’s scoffers thinks. He is instead building his Marriage with the most durable materials.

And when a wife willingly and gladly submits herself to her husband IN EVERYTHING as the Bible commands in Ephesians 5:22-24, she’s not behaving like a slave as some think. She’s constructing her Marriage with the strongest and purest building materials that are by far more precious than diamonds. It’s only a matter of time, and it will be obvious to all that she was using Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge to build her Marriage and home.

The Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge from God’s Word are heavenly and divine and so produce heavenly unions that are filled with heavenly bliss. Giving obedience to them and living your married life according their dictates makes your union a sweet colony of Heaven on Earth.
