A BEAUTIFUL OR HANDSOME BODY IS GOOD AND attractive but it’s the mind that rules the body. So your Marriage needs a sound and transformed mind.
And how do you get a sound, renewed and transformed mind? It’s by taking in the Word of God, embracing it’s teachings and doctrines and enthusiastically living by them.
Why do some men still go outside even though they have a very pretty and well endowed wife at home? It’s the problem of the mind. They’ve been deceived to believe that the women outside offer “better love.” And they have unfortunately accepted that ruinous concept.
In the early days of this ministry, I read about a European couple who were mismatched in marriage. While the wife came from a family where members admired and cherished romantic marriages, the husband was a stone age kind of man. He was averse or hateful of intimacy and the very few occasions he obliged his poor wife, it was more like an injection than lovemaking. The whole situation was so persistently frustrating that the wife eventually committed suicide.
The husband had a problem of the mind.
As a couple, it’s important that you throw out of your mind all the beliefs about marriage that are contrary to God’s Word on Marriage. Embrace everything God commands on Marriage and practice them and yours will be a heavenly union. Remember, it’s God that instituted Marriage. Apparently, His Word holds the key to marital success. Let’s take a look at SOME of the things God’s Word says on Marriage.

1) MARRIAGE IS HONOURABLE.
(Hebrews 13: 4)
Something honourable is distinguished, noble, respectable, illustrious and dignified. And these are exactly what Marriage is. Understanding and embracing this magnificent truth will help you esteem, appreciate and hold your union close to your heart. Furthermore, it will make you treasure your Mate and deeply cherish them.

2) THE SANCTITY AND PERMANENCE OF MARRIAGE(Matthew 19:6; Mark 10:9).
God’s Word teaches the sacredness and permanence of Marriage while the world advocates divorce, polygamy, extramarital affairs, etc. Embracing God’s law of the sanctity of Marriage helps Spouses cleave to each other through thick and thin; and as they do, they see the glory of God as He gives them wins and victories and sweetens their union from year to year, making it an ever-rich experience!

3) THE ABUNDANCE OF SEX IN MARRIAGE AND THE PURITY OF IT(Proverbs 5:15-17; Hebrews 13:4a)
While the world commercializes and bastardizes Sex, God’s Word declares that in Marriage it’s pure and undefiled. Not only that, it says that there’s a great abundance of it in marriage for the Spouses. It urges Spouses to freely drink the waters of married love. When couples embrace these glorious truths, they’ll see that’s it’s sheer madness to fool around with a side-chick or a side-dude.

4) SUBMISSION BY WIFE AND SUPREME LOVE BY HUSBAND(Ephesians 5:22-33; Colossians 3:18-19)
God’s Word sets forth the code of conduct for husbands and wives in Marriage. When Spouses embrace their respective roles in the union, there’s perfect harmony in their relationship and the home will get sweeter and sweeter by the day!

5) SPOUSES ARE COMMANDED TO GIVE EACH OTHER SEXUAL SATISFACTION(1 Corinthians 7:2-5)
Two of our recent devotionals were tagged: “Give Your Wife Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Sex”.
The word: “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” means: extraordinarily good, wonderful.
God wants Spouses to enjoy extraordinarily good sex in marriage and it’s the duty of each of the Partners to give their Mate the very best.
In this regards, it’s our belief that it’s the husband that should adapt to his wife for this high quality of intimacy to be their consistent experience.
