ποΈWho is a Genius? A Genius is an exceptionally intelligent person or one with exceptional skills in a particular area of activity. And that’s what, Nimrod, the man in our anchor scripture for today was in his lifetime.
He was an exceptionally skillful hunter.
π₯π₯π₯π ποΈYou’ll appreciate his fame and greatness when you understand how heavily dense forests were in his time; how numerous wild and dangerous beasts were during that era; and how primitive and unsophisticated their hunting weapons were in those days when humanity hadn’t yet woken up to civilization. But despite the innumerable odds, Nimrod made his mark. So much so that God Himself took note of him and his exceptional skills in conquering the untamed jungles of wild beasts!
π₯π₯π₯π ποΈNow the question: Was Nimrod and all the other Geniuses of history born with the knowledge by which they demonstrated their talents? No. They were born with bare potentials just like everyone else. They, however, took the responsibility of adding desire, ambition, pursuit, passion, diligence and hard work to their potential and they became famous with their talents!
π₯π₯π₯π ποΈ Saint Paul wasn’t born as “the greatest Apostle of Jesus Christ”. No. But once he got saved on the way to Damascus, he made up his mind to be all and everything God saved him to be (Philippians 3:7-14). Daniel wasn’t born a Prophet but as a young captive in a strange land, he purposed to be pure and holy at the risk of his life(Daniel 1:8) and God lifted him up to the office of a Prophet.
π₯π₯π₯π ποΈEvery married man or woman has in them the potential to become a Genius Lover. But it’s their responsibility to develop it.
π₯π₯π₯π ποΈYour massive love talents are lying dormant and idle in you waiting to be exploited!
π₯π₯π₯π₯ποΈUnfortunately, very many Spouses are doing the opposite. Instead of developing their love-power in the covenant arena of Marriage, they are foolishly sleeping around and bringing diseases, demons and curses upon themselves!
π₯π₯π₯π ποΈAnother reason many couples are not growing or developing their Lovelife is because they haven’t set their minds on attaining higher heights in their marital life. Their understanding of Marriage is so low and so shallow they’re contented with just being married and staying together in a lacklustre union.
π₯π₯π₯π
ποΈBut the Scripture tells that “the path of the just is as the shinning light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day “(Proverbs 4 18).
An important part of the life of the righteous is their Marriage which is their love life.
π₯π₯π₯π ποΈYour love life as a couple should get brighter and brighter by the day and not grow dim and dark as you grow older. Do you you understand? This is God’s perfect will. It becomes even more imperative in view of how the sins of immorality have flooded the society and the devil is using it to rubbish the lives of the old and the young.
π₯π₯π₯π
ποΈA strong marriage with a vibrant love life is a wall of protection for the Christian couple’s
spiritual lives and ministries; and they should ensure that it gets stronger as they grow older. Remember that Father Abraham remarried when he was over 140 years old. Even though the Bible doesn’t tell us his reasons for doing so, we can safely conclude that he did so to protect his spiritual life against the gross and widespread sins of immorality in Canaan land.
π₯π₯π₯π ποΈIn conclusion, we encourage you and your Spouse to make it your matrimonial vision to become Eminent Married Lovers who have a reputation and name as Genius Lovers in the sight of the Lord just as Nimrod was known to Him as a Mighty Hunter! Being Genius Lovers will protect your marriage, home, family, christian testimony and your spiritual lives.π₯π₯π₯π ποΈ
