🍁🌹🍯IN THE FIRST PART of this teaching, we saw among other beautiful things, that a personal prayer life in the closet is one of our means of deep intimacy with God.
🍁🌹🍯We also saw that the equivalence of that in Marriage is Sexual Intimacy with one’s Spouse.
🍁🌹🍯We also noted that, just as intimacy with God by Prayer is something we observe or give attention to DAILY, so also should sexual intimacy as a means of deep intimacy between Spouses be DAILY.
🍁🌹🍯The puzzle for many is: how could very busy spouses with so much to do, be able to find the time and energy to have sexual intercourse Daily?
🍁🌹🍯Like we said in that devotional piece, it’s not only possible but “super-possible”!
🍁🌹🍯Just ask yourself, “What makes me find the time and the energy to brush my teeth, bathe, groom my body and dress gorgeously before going to the workplace?”, and you will have the answer! The answer is very simple: because doing all those things are important to your life; since you dare not go to work with unwashed, gummy and smelly body.
🍁🌹🍯Ask yourself, “Why do I stop to eat, drink water and attend to the call of nature, despite my busy schedule?” The answer is easy: because they are important and necessary for your survival as a human being! So also is sexual intimacy basic and fundamental to the survival, WELLBEING, GROWTH AND STAMINA of your marriage! Sadly, most couples don’t even know that their marriage ought to be growing and should be adequately strong to withstand Satan’s storms that he sends against couples.
🍁🌹🍯Let’s consider yet another scenario.
🍁🌹🍯What makes a committed Christian man or woman ensure that they pray early in the morning or at midnight? Their spiritual life, of course.
🍁🌹🍯Your spiritual life in Christ survives on Prayer and other spiritual “basics”. So, you don’t wait to be begged to pray to God. You do because if you don’t, your spiritual life will nosedive.
🍁🌹🍯Sir/Ma, your Love Life, which is your marriage, is equally important and needs to be nourished Daily
just as your spiritual life is fed Daily!
🍁🌹🍯In your Spiritual life, it’s “Pray without ceasing”. In your love life as a couple, it’s also “Love without ceasing”! Put bluntly it’s, “Make Love Ceaselessly!”
When couples obey this, extramarital affairs dies a natural death!
🍁🌹🍯When you know that sexual intimacy is the Water of the married life as we can see in our anchor scripture, you will know that it is a daily marital nourishment and not an occasional drink.
🍁🌹🍯When spouses mutually believe and practice these truths, sexual immorality, which is Satan’s foremost weapon against marriages, will be greatly devastated and suffer massive
decline world-wide!
🍁🌹🍯Can you see the picture of what God wants to do through this series of teachings? He wants to destroy the age-old pattern of sexual poverty and romantic famine that has driven men and women into immorality, despite being married.
