It gives you an opportunity to review critical areas of your life and to take necessary steps, make overdue adjustments and in some cases, completely stop or discontinue practices that have become obsolete and unprofitable.

🤍🩷🧡For this to become a reality, you and your spouse must go back to the pages of Scripture to know God’s divine pattern for marriages and live by it.
🤍🩷🧡IN 2026, “LEAVE AND CLEAVE” DAILY!
God’s first pronouncement after He presented Eve to Adam was:
“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”(Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-5)
🤍🩷🧡Therefore, marriage basically demands two things: Firstly, that Spouses deprioritize all other existent relationships and elevate their union above them all. Secondly, they are to cleave firmly to each other.
Note that this command is not only to be obeyed at the beginning of marriage. You’re to observe it all your married life!
Now, let’s quickly look at the two.
🤍🩷🧡 “LEAVE FATHER AND MOTHER”
God’s demand for Spouses to leave Father and Mother, which is their first and most cherished relationship in life, is equally a call to give up all secondary relationships that could hinder the growth of the couple’s life as an independent unit.
🤍🩷🧡In 2026, intentionally deprioritize all other relationships and invest more and more in your growth as covenant lovers. Invest time, prayers, finance, ideas, etc, into your relationship until it becomes a blooming love affair you’ll both be thrilled with and proud of.
🤍🩷🧡CLEAVE TO EACH OTHER ANEW IN 2026
What does it mean “to cleave”? It’s to adhere to, stick to, “gum yourself to” your husband or wife. Put bluntly it’s primarily sexual intercourse and companionship.
🤍🩷🧡So, 2026 is a year to give renewed attention to sexual intercourse in your marriage; because it’s a primary means of cleaving to each other in marriage.
🤍🩷🧡The more you have sex together, the more you’re bonded to each other physically, emotionally and mentally. The more you have sex together, the more your minds are filled with each other because the cameras of the mind film everything and store them in your minds’ memory banks for future reference.
🤍🩷🧡So, sex isn’t just something you do for pregnancy. No! It’s a basic necessity required for the survival, sustenance and growth of your Marriage.
🤍🩷🧡Now that you know this, get ready to make love more often in 2026 than ever before.
🤍🩷🧡 CONCLUSION
As you faithfully and consistently obey what you’ve read today, your Marriage will move up to a new and higher levels, in Jesus’ name! Amen.
