🐢🌹God tells us that Marriage is honourable(Hebrews 13: 4). This implies that your wife is a personality of honour (just as you also are). Put another way, it means that your wife is a Very Important Personality(VIP).
🐢🌹Secondly, God tells us that a Wife is “A Good Thing” and a manifest evidence of divine favour upon her husband! (Proverbs 18:22). And when you understand that whatever God classifies as “Good” isn’t merely good but Excellent, then you’ll appreciate the fact that a wife is more than an ordinary female human being. She’s an Excellent Gift from God.
🐢🌹Thirdly, God commands that a husband love his wife in a special way. Not as he loves his neighbours, his coworkers or his fellow church members, but as deeply as Christ loves the Church. Extraordinarily, extravagantly and supremely.
🐢🌹There’s no sober minded man who will meditate on the contents of the three paragraphs above and not realise that there must be something about wives that makes God say all these about them.
🐢🌹Who and what is a wife?
🐢🌹SIR, SHE’S GOD’S AGENT OF RESCUE, POWER AND HELP STATIONED IN YOUR LIFE!
🐢🌹When God promised in Genesis 2:18 to make a Helper for Man, the Hebrew word for the kind of Helper God meant is “EZER” and it means: An Agent of Rescue, A Strong Power, A Strong Helper!
🐢🌹Unfortunately, most husbands are completely ignorant of these truths.
🐢🌹To make matters worse, our society underestimates women and the girl child. As a result, most men ignorantly see their wife as a liability rather than an asset of inestimable value that she truly is!
🐢🌹Our anchor scripture tells men to live with their wives according to the knowledge of Scriptures!
🐢🌹”EZER” the Hebrew word for Helper tells us that your wife is: “An Agent of Rescue”, “A Strong Helper” and “A Strong Power”!
See her as such. Treat her as such! And you will experience her as such.
🐢🌹Wise men have long ago come to the realisation that: “Behind every successful man is a woman.”
🐢🌹Experience has also taught men that: “Behind every great man is an even greater woman!!”
🐢🌹William Ross Wallace wrote: “The hands that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world!” Whose hands rock cradles? The hands of wives, of course. Women are the ultimate human force that shapes the society.
🐢🌹So, from both divine and secular sources, we have proofs that Wives are great, extraordinary and amazing personages.
🐢🌹Sir, recognise who your wife truly is. She’s God’s Agent of Rescue, A Strong Power and A Strong Helper stationed in your life.
🐢🌹See her as A Divine Ambassador Of Love sent into your life to help you fulfill your destiny.
🐢🌹Overlook her imperfections. Love her as Christ loves the Church: extraordinarily, extravagantly and supremely; and you will see her function as God’s Multidimensional Agent that she truly is.
