FALLING IN LOVE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN!(PT. 2)

Scripture:
‘I AM MY BELOVED’S, AND HIS DESIRE IS TOWARD ME.’
(SONG OF SOLOMON 7: 10)

🥑🥑When you and your spouse fell in love with each other in the beginning, it all happened spontaneously, without much effort on the part of either of you. Why? Because there were more or less no barriers restraining the free flow of affection.

🩷🩷SEASONS OF INTENTIONAL EFFORTS
But after you’re married, you both have to deliberately, consciously, and intentionally make efforts to fall in love over and over again; otherwise, it won’t happen. Why? Because by this time, you have both seen the fullness of each other and now know both the beautiful and the ugly sides of each other’s lives. And the ugly aspects of your respective lives will pose a challenge to the tendency to fall in love. And here’s where you must each make the noble choice of walking, not just in romantic love alone, but more dominantly in Agape love, otherwise known as Greater Love or Fervent Love—the love that loves unconditionally and delights in overlooking the faults, weaknesses, and transgressions of its Beloved! (1 Peter 4:8).

💚💚YESTERDAY
Yesterday, we looked at some of the catalysts that stir spouses’ hearts to fall in love with each other anew. By God’s grace, we shall look at more today.

🤎There’s the need for every spouse to understand that each and every one of the catalysts is important. This means you should ensure that you use each of them at the right time.

🍍🍍ATTRACTIVENESS
Another powerful catalyst, impetus, or stimulus that triggers falling in love afresh is a romantic outward appearance.

🧡Beloved, if you still remember, your outward appearance was one of the key things that drew your mate to you for marriage. It could have been your impeccable neatness, your amazing dress sense, your colour coordination, etc.

🩷If it was important for you to look beautiful or handsome in “those days” when you were far apart, don’t you think that it’s more important for you to look attractive, desirable, and yummy now that you’re so close and do not only see each other completely but also touch, feel, taste, and smell one another at an extremely close range?

🩶Unfortunately, it is in this very sensitive area that very many spouses are making costly mistakes—some unknowingly, while some do so on assumed religious grounds.

💜The blunt truth is that, as human beings, we are visually driven creatures, and we walk largely by sight. It doesn’t matter whether your spouse is a bishop, pastor, rabbi, deacon, or deaconess -they need to find you attractive, fragrant and always fresh and clean for intimate fellowship.

🥥🥥YOU’RE A LOVE PRODUCT!
Every maker of consumer goods knows that packaging is very important. That’s why biscuits, toilet soaps, phones, bagged rice, spaghetti, etc., are always packaged in beautiful and attractive wrappings, branded bags, packets, or cartons. Good packaging gives buyers the first impression that the product inside must be amazing and worth the price tag.

🩵As a spouse, you are a love product. Don’t reduce your worth or cheapen yourself by always looking your worst at home just because you’re now a parent, grandparent, or because you’re no longer young. You do yourself a great disservice by such carelessness and self-neglect.

🩷If it’s important and necessary to dress well when going to the office, church, or a social event, such as a colleague’s birthday party, because you care about how the audience at the event will evaluate you, don’t you know that it’s far more important to look stunning at home, where your spouse sees you at a far closer range?

🍦🍦A BEAUTIFUL LOVE WORLD FOR TWO BEAUTIFUL SOULS
Marriage is a love life in a love world, and couples are real-life lovers. And it is improper for lovers to be dirty, smelly, unkempt, and dishevelled.

💖Now, does this mean you should always be dressed up in your occasional wear while at home just to look attractive to your mate? No. But ensure that you look good even in your simple casual clothes.

💕Lovers have several attires, and the first and most basic of them all is squeaky-clean and sweet-smelling skin and hair! The next is underwear that is clean and odour-free.

🤍Looking good and smelling sweet does something: It makes your spouse want to draw closer. That’s it! It makes your mate want to touch you.

🧉🧉DON’T BE A TOUCH REJECTER!
The last catalyst or impetus for falling in love that we shall examine today is TOUCH. There is explosive power loaded into TOUCH, and that’s why God forbids it outside marriage (read 1 Corinthians 7:1).

💙One of the many privileges couples have in marriage is that of touching each other. It moves the marriage relationship up into new and higher levels.

🤎Again, it’s unfortunate that many spouses are in the habit of rejecting the touch of their partners and even feel that they’re being spiritual, disciplined, or demonstrating a strong sense of chastity. I deeply pity such spouses.

💝Sir/Ma, when you reject the affectionate touch of your spouse, you’re sending a wrong signal. And don’t be surprised if, after a while, they no longer touch you. And if your mate is not yet born again, rejecting their touch is another way of saying, “Don’t touch me with your dirty hands. Look for someone else, please!” And don’t be shocked when they do.

💗You need to realise that your mate touching you is a mark that they’re falling in love with you anew, which is what this message is promoting and advocating! So, when your mate touches you, know that something in you is drawing them to you. For women, that “something” is called Woman Power. For men, it’s Man Power.

🤎What to do with your spouse’s touches is very simple: warmly and heartily receive them and let nature have its way. If you knew how many people out there have no spouse to touch them, you’d probably be more grateful, more appreciative, and more respectful of your marital privileges, including your spouse’s touches.

🌽🌽CONCLUSION
Remember the two catalysts we’ve discussed today: Attractiveness and Touch.

💚Always remember that you are a love product and that your spouse is the consumer. So, daily package yourself such that your worth will be obvious.

💛And when, as a result of your attractiveness, your mate wants to “consume” you by touching you, don’t reject their touch. Allow them to touch you, feel you, and smell your sweet aroma and even taste you. That’s the proper conduct of a knowledgeable spouse.

🧡If, however, the timing of their amorousness is not right, don’t get angry and misbehave. Politely and FIRMLY let them know that it is not convenient for you at the moment to go beyond touching. If they’re not foolish, they’ll most definitely listen to you and wait for the right time.🩵🩵

🧪⚗️Scientific Info To Boost Your Marriage:
🔬”During physical intimacy and orgasm, the body releases a cascade of beneficial hormones, including oxytocin (the “bonding hormone”) and endorphins. These chemicals counteract cortisol (the primary stress hormone), effectively lower blood pressure, improve sleep quality, and alleviate anxiety. Chronic stress is a known accelerator of aging, meaning the biochemical relaxation of sex acts as a natural longevity shield.”🔬
