📐📏📐📏If there is anything the devil hates, it is marriages. Remember, he never launched an attack on planet Earth for as long as Adam was a bachelor. Why? Because Adam, as an individual, wasn’t a threat to him. But once God fortified Adam by blessing him with a wife, Satan knew that he had to fight; otherwise, the dominion in the new couple’s hands would be used to subjugate him and his demons on Earth.

📐📏📐📏IT HASN’T CHANGED
Just as Satan felt threatened by the first couple and therefore came cunningly to deceive them into sinning so that, as transgressors, they would be under his control, so is he cunningly coming to couples today. And his strategy hasn’t changed: it is to first fool one of the spouses, just as he first fooled Eve and used her against her husband.

📐📏📐📏JUST YESTERDAY!
Just yesterday, I heard of a young man who got married only two months ago and now wants to divorce his wife because he no longer “feels” that he loves her. Just think about the whole thing. Someone married a wife two months ago, and now he is thinking of divorcing her for one reason: he “doesn’t feel” that he loves her anymore. This is not only childish and puerile; it’s much more than that! It is Diabolos, Satan, at work, just as he did in the Garden of Eden and destroyed the first couple!

📐📏📐📏MARRIAGE IS A STRONG COVENANT UNION
In very many churches, weddings are not undertaken frivolously or carelessly, nor are they conducted for just any Dick and Harry who shows up. In very many churches, the banns of marriage are carefully announced for literally weeks before the wedding date arrives. And when no one comes forward to give a credible and acceptable reason for the cancellation of the wedding, the church proceeds to host the nuptials.

💛Apart from the church’s strictness, there’s no reasonable man who sees a woman today and marries her within twenty-four hours. They first court each other for at least a few weeks. During that period, they evaluate things, make decisions, involve the necessary stakeholders, and eventually get married. So, marriages don’t happen just anyhow.

👆And when a major flaw is discovered after the wedding, such as a case in which the woman is actually married to someone else, conceals this fact, and deceives the man into marrying her, it is understandable when the man wants to opt out of the marriage.

✌️But when a new husband wants to end a marriage just because he “doesn’t feel” that he loves his wife anymore, it’s a clear case of a grave error masterminded by no other person than the devil. That husband must ensure that he doesn’t play into Satan’s hands.

📐📏📐📏UNDERSTANDING MARRIAGE AND LOVE
Unarguably, love involves feelings, sentiments, and emotions. However, there are many times in the lives of couples when the feelings of love simply won’t be there. This is true of all marriages, without exception. Why? Because feelings, emotions, and sentiments come and go.
🤝Even among siblings, it’s not always that there is that excitement and fondness that characterise their affinity. Sometimes, for one reason or another, one or another of them is not in the mood to play, laugh or go on a stroll. Does the feelings of such moments warrant the siblings concluding that they no longer love each other and that they had better split? No! Such a conclusion would be completely foolish and most unreasonable. Why? Because their blood tie and kinship is far too precious to be cast off because of a mere change of feelings
⭐This is the case with the young husband in question. He needs to realise that his marriage is a covenant union that is by far weightier than the sentiments and feelings of love that he doesn’t feel at the moment. He must reject the voice that is working so hard to brainwash him into destroying his young marriage.

📐📏📐📏CONCLUSION: COMPARABLE TO THE SUN
Dear reader, are you feeling that you no longer love your spouse and that the next thing to do is to divorce them? Beware, because it is the devil who is working so hard to ruin your life through this singular, foolish decision he is pressuring you to make.

✨Your love for your spouse is comparable to the sun. There’s no day the sun doesn’t rise. However, there are days when the weather is dull. Does that mean that the sun didn’t rise on such days? Only a child would believe that the sun didn’t rise on those days. Mature adults know that the sun is right there in the sky over their city, town, or village, but it is temporarily obscured by clouds!

🚁And that’s exactly the situation when you simply can’t feel love for your mate, or vice versa. Your love for each other is temporarily obscured by a number of factors. And just as the clouds dissipate after a while and the sun becomes visible again, so it is in marriage. After some time, the things obscuring your love will vanish, and you will see your hearts beating with love for each other again. 📐📏
