🥑🧉☕🍫🤎One of the powerful enrichment resources for the strengthening, renewal, and consolidation of your relationship as a couple is your nudity or nakedness. Sounds surprising and strange, doesn’t it? But it is nonetheless true.
🍫When God set the first couple in the nude, it was purpose-driven and intended to have multifaceted impacts.
🥑🧉☕🍫🤎A TRIPARTITE MATE
Your spouse is a tripartite being, having spirit, soul, and body. Of the three parts—spirit, soul, and body—God gave you the body to see, touch, feel, smell, taste, and use in nourishing your love and matrimonial life. Indeed, your spouse’s body is one of the foremost nourishments of your love life, and vice versa.
🤎Unfortunately, right up till this very moment, the vast majority of married couples don’t see much of each other’s bodies because they feel ashamed, embarrassed, and sheepish about being seen nude by one another. The result? They always make love in pitch darkness, and it has been this way for whole decades.
🧉But when you look at our anchor Scripture for today, you’ll find that it was not so in the beginning! Instead, the opposite was the case. Adam and Eve were naked and unashamed! It was sin that brought upon them the feeling of uneasiness and awkwardness about their bodies.
🥑🧉☕🍫🤎THE ORIGINAL MARRIAGE
It’s expedient for every spouse to attain the selfsame state of freedom from shame which the original couple had before the Fall. If seeing each other naked was designed by God and placed in the original or first marriage, then it is most definitely good for our marriages today also. It must, however, be observed with wisdom, discretion, and strictly within the holy confines of the bedroom, with its door securely locked and the curtains pulled down.
🥑🧉☕🍫🤎THE BODY IS NOT SHAMEFUL
The key that will help spouses to feel absolutely free with each other in the nude is knowledge of the truth! Jesus said:
📖”And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32).
☕The truth about the body will help every spouse know that there’s absolutely nothing about it that calls for anyone to be ashamed, and this is most especially because spouses are one flesh in marriage.
🥑Firstly, the body is in the image and likeness of God, and this calls for celebration rather than shame.
🍫Secondly, the body is so good that God makes it His temple when the spirit within it is regenerated. So, the Christian couple whose bodies have become the temple of the Holy Spirit have no business being ashamed of bathing together, lying down on the bed naked in the afternoon, or undressing in the open view of one another. They should be absolutely free with each other, as they’re both temples of the living God.
🥑🧉☕🍫🤎THE ADVANTAGES OF FREELY SEEING EACH OTHER’S NAKEDNESS
In marriage, seeing each other’s nakedness enhances the desire for sexual intimacy, heightens the libido, enhances companionship, and draws spouses into each other’s arms.
🍫Matrimonial open nudity in the bedroom nourishes passion, affection, and romance. It gives spouses the opportunity to see how fearfully and wonderfully crafted their spouse is. Seeing them in full nakedness helps you to appreciate and esteem them all the more.
🤎Nudity was placed in marriage to recharge the elements of married love: romance, passion, esteem, appreciation, etc.
🧉Nudity was placed in marriage primarily for visual and aesthetic enjoyment before sexual gratification. The body is the biggest, most complex, and most awe-inspiring divine artwork on the earth and is primarily for appreciation and acknowledgement of God’s excellence, ingeniousness, and astonishing creative power!
🥑🧉☕🍫🤎POWERFUL CAMERAS
Note that the human eyes are the most powerful cameras in the world. It’s to your great advantage when your mate sees you naked often and on. Don’t for a second believe the devil’s lies that seeing you naked too often will cheapen you in the estimation of your spouse. It’s not true. The opposite is the truth: as your spouse sees your nakedness, especially during the daytime (and, of course, in the bedroom), those sights are automatically stored in the memory bank of the mind of your mate and will play back to your advantage when they’re far away from you.

Have you ever asked what made King David so restless after watching Bathsheba bathing that he sent one of his servants to find out about her? The answer is simple: the “movie” of Bathsheba’s bathing was playing and replaying in his head. Even when he was told that she was married, the “movie” wouldn’t stop playing.
☕When spouses let their mate see them nude again and again and again, they’re storing “movies” of themselves in their partner’s memory bank that will play at just the auspicious moment to the advantage of their marriage.
🥑For wives, letting your husband freely see your nakedness is a powerful way of immunizing him against the pornography pandemic.

The body of the saved man or woman is so good that we who are born again are exhorted to present our bodies to God as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). Now, the point here is this: since our bodies are so good that they are presentable as a living sacrifice to God the Creator, why should the born-again couple be ashamed of seeing each other naked? It smacks of horrifying ignorance!
🍫So, it’s time to get back to feeling free with each other as Adam and Eve did before the Fall. After all, Jesus Christ has come and broken the backbone of sin by shedding His blood for us on the cross, redeeming us and giving us eternal life. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. So, every barrier that came through the Fall has been destroyed. Therefore, freely allow your spouse to see your body, especially in the daytime!
🤎But your liberty with each other’s bodies must be in the bedroom, with the door securely locked and the bedroom curtains fully pulled down.🧉☕
