WHEN GOD FORMED Man(Gen.2:7), He had the option of not creating the Penis. But because He wanted Man to be a sexual being, He set a Penis between his thighs. It was no mistake. He didn’t stop there but went on to fill him with a very massive, powerful and vigorous desire for sexual intimacy.
And when He created the Woman (Genesis 2:21-22), He made her a sexual being also and gave her beautiful breasts and a lovely vagina. And just as He did in the man, He filled the woman with a very strong, forceful and enormous desire and capacity for sexual intimacy. This is why prostitutes can effortlessly sleep with ten men per day. So, women are not sexual weaklings.
Now, after creating Man and Woman, God instituted Marriage and the Man and the Woman became One Flesh(Gen.2:24).
Therefore, Marriage is a sacred and hallowed covenant relationship between a husband and wife. It’s a ONE FLESH BOND in which the Spouses have become each other’s body, flesh and bones just like Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:30); and one of the sacred obligations the Spouses owe each other is that of coming together CONSTANTLY to re-enact their Oneness by the conjugal activity of blending their maleness and femaleness together. It’s this activity that we call SEXUAL INTERCOURSE. Therefore, sexual intercourse in marriage is completely of God. It isn’t something odd or queer to be slighted and deprioritized as some Spouses do.
The fact that the world abuses it, misuses it, perverts it, bastardize it and heavily commercialize Sex does not in any way alter it’s sacredness in Marriage. Sex is the innermost core of the marriage covenant and it’s an obligation and duty God demands Spouses to faithfully give attention to in their union.
This obligation is so important in the sight of God that He took time to authoritatively speak about it in our anchor scripture for today and in other parts of His Word, the Bible.
Dear Spouses, please note this: what God says in our anchor Scripture isn’t a suggestion, an advise or an option presented for your kind consideration. No. IT’S A DIVINE ORDER!
In that verse, God commands you, as a married person, to give your beloved marriage partner sexual intimacy, which is referred to as “Due Benevolence”. God is saying: GIVE SEXUAL PLEASURE AND SATISFACTION TO YOUR HUSBAND/WIFE!
It’s important for you to realize that this duty is one that no other person can discharge on your behalf.
Husband, can you ever say: “Today, I’m so tired. Charles, my Driver, please go and sleep with my Wife on my behalf”?
Or Wife, can you tell your house girl: “Today, I’m so worn out . Please, Janet, come help me sleep with my husband tonight. Do it on my behalf”?
Of course, no husband or wife would ever take such a crazy and abominable step.
Since this is a service that ONLY YOU can render to your Spouse, why not go about it with ALL DILIGENCE AND FAITHFULNESS?
Many marriages have collapsed because Spouses behave as if giving sexual services to their Mate is a herculean or difficult task whereas it isn’t. It’s a privilege to have someone who’s solely yours to render this beautiful service to.
Therefore, always give this service to your mate dutifully and faithfully.
