A SOUND UNDERSTANDING OF our anchor scripture for today, will effectively equip any husband to successfully love his wife and win divine approval.

💕OUR anchor scripture tells us that husbands ought to love their wives in just the same way they love their bodies!

💕 HUSBAND, your body daily gets dirty, sweats, gets hungry, excretes, urinates and gives off irritating body odour when unbathed for long, right? But do you ever raise your voice to criticize, humiliate or disgrace it before people by saying something like: “Make una come see my Nyash O! Dis my Nyash too dey smell! Chai” ?
You don’t. And nobody else does. Any man who does is has mental problems and needs the attention of a Psychiatrist or an Exorcist.

What does every man do about his body’s dirt, sweat, hunger, thirst and smells? He quietly attends to them without announcements.
This is how God says “you ought” to treat your wife. Take care of her on daily basis just as you take care of your body daily.

💕”BATHE” her with the water of loving correction and gracious forgiveness in the “Bathroom” of the strict privacy of your marriage bedroom and never in front of people; just as you never take your physical bathe outside and in public view!

💕NOURISH and fatten her physically, emotionally and spiritually. Make her happy. Cheer her on! Be her most ardent encourager. Invest in her dreams and aspirations: and help her become a fulfilled woman.

💕GROOM, cream and clothe her with the beautiful attires of praise, admiration, approval, adoration and appreciation just as you groom your body and dress it handsomely after every bathe.

💕BE MINDFUL of her need for rest, recreation and refreshment and make provisions for them without her asking; just as you’re thoughtful enough to give your physical body the rest of sleep by observing siestas and eight hours of sound sleep every night.

💕BE HIGHLY protective of her!
Protect her from all assailants, whether In-laws, Outlaws or neighbours; just as you’re instinctively protective of your body against all dangers.

💕 LOVE HER in other numerous ways that you love your body. As you do, your marriage will grow to become a glorious garden of blissfulness and serenity. Why? Because your deeply dedicated love for her will inspire her to be completely submissive to you in everything!
