GOD IS OUR EXAMPLE and Model of what it means to be a Lover or who a Lover is.

In God’s practice of Love, He is not only doing acts of love but He is the very personification and epitome of Love. Love is His very essence and Life.

Sir/Ma, Love goes well beyond good activities that benefit others. That’s why 1 Corinthians 13 shows us that one may speak in the tongues of men and of Angels, give his goods to the poor, give their body to be burnt, teach correct doctrines and prophecy and yet be empty of true Love. True love is character and personality as we can easily see in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8!

So, true love goes beyond good activities. It has to be your Life and character just as God’s Love is His life, personality and character.

Our anchor scripture commands us to be followers of God in His character as a Lover.

The word translated “followers” in our anchor scripture is “mimetes” in Greek and means “imitators”. It means: to mimic, copy or emulate the gait, speech, accent and manner of life of another. It implies imitating God just as children imitate their parents. We are to imitate God in His acts, words, ways, graces and Spirit of LOVE.

Applied to marriage, it means that Spouses should not only do good to each other but should to be the very personification of Love. They should be the very essence of love and should personify Kindness, Patience, Romance, Compassion, Tenderness, Sex, etc.

When a Spouse grows to the stature of being the embodiment and quintessence of the great essences of love, their partner can’t do but joyfully cleave to them. Why? Because they’re so sweet and so desirable!Being the embodiment of the essences of Love make you a fountain blessings and your Mate would gleefully cleave to you and alway want more of you.

Just imagine living with a marriage Partner who is a paragon of humility, kindness, patience, generosity and above all a fantastic lover in the bedroom. What would make you think of infidelity if not insanity and practical madness? You won’t think of infidelity because everything you need sexually is available with your Spouse who is an award-winning Bedmatician! You won’t think of extramarital affairs because nothing about it attracts you since the Lovelife you share with your spouse is far superior to the illicit and virus-infested sex outside marriage.

Therefore, in your marriage, make it your goal and aim to become a Lover who embodies all the essences of love.

Don’t be content with just being married. Make it your matrimonial ambition to be a Lover of note who leaves footprints on the sands of time as you sojourn on the face of the earth. Yes, make it your aspiration, yearning and deep-seated passion to be a Great Lover who is an embodiment of Godlike Love and you’ll become one. This isn’t theory. It’s reality.

Why most Spouses stay on in the nursery class of Marriage till their old age is because they’re empty of the ambition to be more in marriage. And this is largely due to the fact that they were not taught about growing and maturing into God-like lovers in their union.

Thankfully, you can cultivate that ambition today.
