Enriching Matrimonies

BETTER THAN APHRODISIACS

Scripture:
‘RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTETH A NATION: BUT SIN IS A REPROACH TO ANY PEOPLE.’
(PROVERBS 14: 34)

There are two kinds of lifestyle on earth: the lifestyle of Righteousness and the lifestyle of Sin.

Our anchor scripture makes very clear what each leads to.

While Righteousness is so strong it can lift up a whole nation and set it on high, Sin does the opposite. It brings an entire country to ruin, decay and disgrace. Sin brought Sodom and Gomorrah to utter ruins. It brought the Canaanites to complete destruction.

On the other hand, Righteousness made the Israelites multiply and become economically stronger than the native Egyptians; leading to hatred and the pogrom and oppression that lasted 430 years. Yet, the more they were oppressed, the more they increased in population! Simple logic tells you that the Israelites had far more robust sex lives and that was why, despite the cruelty, enslavement and the killing of their young children, they increased very rapidly in population to the astonishment and bewilderment of the idolatrous Egyptians.

Righteousness transforms the body, mind and spirit. Righteousness brings the fullness of God’s presence into one’s life: as the Body becomes the Temple of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Trinity dwells therein. This marvelous Presence quietly emboldens the righteous making them lion-like; which is why the Bible says that the Righteous are bold as a Lion! This boldness extends into all aspects of their life including their sex life.

But the lifestyle of Sin with all that go with it: smoking, extramarital affairs, adultery, consumption of alcohol, pornography, wife swapping, group sex, smoking, idolatory, drugs, etc, brings it’s toll in form of subtle sexually transmitted diseases, vengeance, curses and demonic influences that erode sexual powers and virility. Even polygamy has brought some husbands to sexual reproach and ruins as one of the wives has used witchcraft spell to incapacitate their husband’s manhood.

How do you get Righteousness? It’s by genuinely repenting of your sins and believing in Jesus Christ(John 3: 16; John 1:12).

Moses married a new wife in his 90s. Secret of his virility? Not some ancient Aphrodisiac. It was Righteousness!

Abraham married a young woman when he was over 140 years old. Secret? Again, not some Aphrodisiac. It was Righteousness.

Isaac at over 86 years of ave was so romantic, he was making love with his wife in the afternoon. Secret? Righteousness of course!

As our anchor scripture says, Righteousness EXALTS. It’s presence in your life will exalt your Bedroom life.

We’re not saying that Aphrodisiacs are evil. Just pointing you to something that’s by far better, higher and so much within your easy reach!6
