THE “DUE BENEVOLENCE” GOD COMMANDS SPOUSES to render, give and minister to each other is much more than just carrying out a mindless, routine sexual act.
It’s a command to CONSTANTLY SATIATE EACH OTHER and thus helping one another to be and to stay in a state of stable and full moral strength that enables them to walk away completely unaffected, unperturbed and with their head held high whenever confronted with sexual temptation.
The word SATIATE is defined by the Dictionary thus: TO GIVE SOMEBODY SO MUCH OF SOMETHING, SO THAT THEY DO NOT FEEL THAT THEY WANT ANY MORE. This is the duty of every Spouse on the bed of love. But in most marriages, this is not the reality. Instead, Spouses are careful how much of themselves they give to each other. But the question is, “Exactly who are you saving your body and sexual delicacies for? Why are you so miserly and so strict on how much of you your Mate could have per week?”
When I newly unloaded my Song titled SEXUAL STARVATION on YouTube, a highly placed Christian Sister and a professional woman felt that, that effort even though very good and commendable wasn’t enough. She told me I needed to also WRITE ON THAT TOPIC. Being a well travelled Lawyer who had been places and seen many faces, she probably knew that many marriages are battling in that area. Of course, many are, as easily proven by the fact that most of those that patronize Sex Workers are married men! And most of those who use Sex Toys are married women!
When it comes to staying victorious over the temptation to sexual immorality, which is the foremost sin on planet Earth, God’s answer is to have a Spouse of your own and that you both constantly satiate each other(1 Corinthians 7:2)
Your responsibility each time you and your Spouse come together for intimacy is to minister to them until they are sated. To be sated means: HAVING HAD SO MUCH OF SOMETHING THAT YOU DO NOT NEED ANYMORE. When Spouses are faithful and diligent as to minister the blessings of sexual love to each other on this level and constantly so, Adultery will be drastically reduced on the Earth. But do you know what? Someone somewhere doesn’t like that one bit. You know who he is, don’t you? The Devil, of course! This is because Adultery is his Number One “investment” on Earth.
When you read the works of the Flesh listed in Galatians 5, Adultery comes first. It’s the arrowhead of all Sins. So, the devil hates to see Adultery decline, let alone dismantled. And that’s why he fights married couples tooth and nail to ensure that they have Sex only minimally. That way, the Partner that’s starved would go out in anger and frustration to seek satisfaction outside; and there by keeping his multi billion dollar Adultery business running!
But Proverbs 27 verse 7 tells us:
“THE FULL SOUL LOATHETH AN HONEYCOMB; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.”
The first part of that verse (the part that’s capitalized) states that the man who’s sated with food won’t accept any eatable, not even sweet honeycomb. Why? Because he’s FULL.
This is the state Spouses should constantly bring their Partner to, so that when they meet Strange women/Strange men when away from home, they’ll not be desirous because they are FULL!
But what the devil wants is for married couples to foolishly help him fulfill the second part of Proverbs 27: 7, by creating a state of sexual poverty in their marriage, so that the bitter things(Adultery, formication, uncleaness, lasciviousness) he’s selling will be bought by hungry Spouses. Do you now understand what’s going on? So when you deny your Mate sexual intimacy in disobedience to God’s Word in 1 Corinthians 7:5, you’re joining hands with Satan in his global multi billion dollar immorality business. And of course, God will judge you for it if you don’t repent!
But if you love your husband or wife and want them to be inaccessible to Seducers or Seductresses, then use THE KEY that’s been placed in your hands through the knowledge you’ve received from today’s devotional piece:
SATIATE THEM CONSTANTLY!
