KING JEHOSHAPHAT DIDN’T OFFEND ANYONE, yet three nations set out to invade his country unprovoked.
On hearing about the massive alliance of the three nations that was fiercely marching towards Jerusalem, Jehoshaphat went on his knees and sought God’s intervention. He summoned all Judah to Jerusalem where they all proceeded on a corporate prayer and fasting warfare.
Swift was God’s intervention. He turned the foreign armies against each other and they destroyed one another until none of them was left alive! It was an inexplicable, supernatural military tactics employed by Jehovah, the Mighty Man of War. Jehoshaphat and Judah didn’t shoot a single arrow, yet all their enemies perished by killing each other.
In our anchor scripture passage, we see the people of Judah carrying the spoil of their enemies for three whole days. The enemies only brought themselves to be prey and spoil for Jehoshaphat and his people!
In 2024, most definitely, visible and invisible enemies must have ganged up against you to destroy you and your family but God graciously intervened and delivered you.
Even if certain things happened to you contrary to your desire and prayers, it’s important for you to understand that if God had not been on your side, it could have been worse.
Therefore on this day, 31st December, which is the last day of the year 2024, it’s important that you be in the spirit and mood of thanksgiving, gratitude and appreciation to God for the uncountable and unquantifiable mercies, kindness, goodness, deliverance, help, financial provision, open doors, protection, upliftment, promotion, good health, protection from shame and embarrassment and so many other blessings He has lavished on you from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.
As a couple, if you’re shown the statistics of the number of marriages that Satan and his demons have broken up in the course of this year, you’ll be astonished. If God opens your eyes to see how many times the devil has sought to derail your marriage, you’ll be stunned. So, don’t take the good health and soundness of your matrimony for granted. It’s God that’s upholding and helping you.
According to our anchor scripture passage, Jehoshaphat and Judah gathered in the valley of Berachah and GAVE THANKS TO GOD FOR GIVING THEM SUPERNATURAL VICTORY OVER THEIR ENEMIES! They didn’t wait until they got to back Jerusalem before giving thanks. They gave thanks to God soon and early. They expressed their gratitude to Him for dealing crushing blows on their enemies and saving their homes and families.
Before going for “Crossover Night”, “New Year’s Eve Service”, “A Night To Be Greatly Remembered”, “The Night of Supernatural Shift” or whatever name your Church calls tonight’s service, find time and come together in your bedroom as a couple and join hands and give thanks and adoration to God for all He has done for you and your family this year.

🔥LET THE POWER OF GOD KINDLE THE FIRE OF GRATITUDE IN YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE, HELPING YOU TO HUMBLY THANK GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS IN YOUR LIVES, HOME AND FAMILY IN THE YEAR 2024.
🍷🍗 TAKE-HOME LESSON: GOD OWES YOU NOTHING. INSTEAD, IT’S YOU THAT OWE HIM LOADS OF GRATITUDE. DON’T LET THE DEVIL TRICK YOU INTO GOING INTO NEXT YEAR FEELING DISGRUNTLED OVER ANYTHING YOU’VE NOT ACHIEVED THIS YEAR. THAT GOD HAS KEPT YOU ALIVE IS A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT; WHICH IS ONLY POSSIBLE BECAUSE GOD PROTECTED AND KEPT YOU FOR 365 DAYS!
