💕🎸🎺At the Marriage feast in Cana, Galilee(John 2), the newly married couple suddenly realized that the Wine for the occasion had most unexpectedly run out. Embarrassment loomed!
But do you know what? God had it all figured out ever before the marriage feast began; ever before the shortage occurred. He had ensured that His Son, Jesus Christ, and His mother, Mary, were invited.
Just before the “imminent embarrassment” could “explode”, fresh and aromatic wine was already available in abundant supplies!
Mary had spoken to Jesus and that was it. Six water pots of new wine was made available for free!
Mary communicating with Jesus was all it took. And that communication represents Prayer.
Sir/Ma, what’s suddenly gone missing or greatly reduced in your marriage at the moment? God figured it out long before now.
All you need do is to go before Him in Prayer and humbly request Him to fill your Marriage with what you’ve lost and He will.
💧💧🫧After the amazing and unforgettable experience of crossing the mighty Red Sea, Moses and the Israelites suffered three days of thirst.
When they finally found water, alas, it was bitter and undrinkable! Now, does this sound like your marriage? Things went wonderfully well for three, thirteen or even thirty years and now you’re having a bitter union that seems better ended in a divorce, than to be continued? Please, don’t give just yet. Hear this:
The Bitter Water of Marah was a surprise to the Israelites but not to God. He had it all figured out ever before they got there.
When Moses prayed, God showed him a tree right there and beside the bitter stream. Moses cut it and cast it in the Stream and the water became sweet!
Like Moses, pray and talk to God over the bitterness in your marriage and He’ll show you the “Sweetener Tree” you can use to sweeten your union. In all likehood, that “Sweetener Tree” may be so close to your home but you just need God to open your eyes to recognize it. So PRAY!
🙏🙏Point: DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR MARRIAGE. PRAY! GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS!
