🐢🐢🐢Kindness is the quality of being gentle, humane, caring, helpful, friendly, generous and considerate.

🐢In 1 Corinthians 13, the Bible tells us that one of the qualities of Love Is KINDNESS.

🐢And When Jesus taught on loving one’s neighbour as oneself in Luke chapter 10, the example of love He gave is the Samaritan’s disarming act of deep kindness to the wounded traveller.

🐢Having a good and happy marriage isn’t rocket science. It’s something within the easy reach of every Spouse. One of the keys to it is to be profusely kind to one’s marriage partner by words and deeds.

🐢Each time you spot a need in the life of your Mate, that’s your opportunity to show them kindness.

🐢Your mate’s moment of fall isn’t a time to be angry with them for being careless and slipping. It’s your opportunity to express kindness in form of empathy, kind and comforting words. It’s a time to stretch a hand to help them to their feet.

🐢The Good Samaritans act of kindness is a lesson for us all. He never spent a moment asking the wounded man unnecessary question such as why he travelled alone. He quietly evaluated the situation and knew that he wasn’t there as a Police Officer to interrogate and write a report. He was there as a neighbour: an instrument of God’s love.

🐢Similarly, know that as a Spouse you’re stationed by God in your Spouses life as their “One Flesh Lover”, Covenant Helper who should help them rise in the hour of fall, keep them warm in life’s cold seasons, help them fight their adversaries during the battles of life and work together with them for bumper harvests in their calling in life as enshrined in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.
