🍇🌹🍇🌹The relationship of Christ and the Church is set forth as the example or model for all Spouses to follow.

🍇🌹🍇🌹An important aspect of the relationship of Christ and His Church is GIVING.

🍇🌹🍇🌹Christ gives and gives to the Church. Infact, He began by giving Himself for the redemption of the Church. And ever since, He has been giving ceaselessly to the Church.

🍇🌹🍇🌹By His liberality we have become not just saved souls but children of God, kings, priests, joint heirs with Him and so much more!

🍇🌹🍇🌹The Church also loves Christ fervently and continually gives Him worship, adoration, praise, obedience, services and submission. The Church loves Him continually and has suffered persecutions, hatred and afflictions for His sake for centuries and still remains totally loyal to Him.

🍇🌹🍇🌹As you can see, there is a high level of love, commitment and liberality on both sides. That’s how it should be in your marriage.

🍇🌹🍇🌹Note that as Christ and the Church give to each other, none of them loses. Christ is winning and the Church is getting bigger and stronger on the earth and conquering her enemies.

🍇🌹🍇🌹It’s just as our anchor scripture says: the liberal soul shall be made fat. In giving, you’re increased and enlarged instead of diminishing as some fear.

🍇🌹🍇🌹Infact, the second part of our anchor scripture says that the man who waters another shall also be watered! So, you don’t lose when you are liberal.

🍇🌹🍇🌹In many marriages, some Spouses are deliberately restrained in their giving to their partner. They are economical with information. They’re careful with how they give their time, help, assistance and support. Worst of all, they’re highly economical with their love assets: their body and their sexuality. When you do these, you’re silently and foolishly strangulating your marriage.

🍇🌹🍇🌹My question is: as you’re miserly and tightfisted and refuse to give freely to your Spouse, who exactly are you saving your love assets for?

🍇🌹🍇🌹True Lovers know that the best way to give to their Beloved is to give in king-size proportions. And that’s exactly what our anchor scripture teaches.

🍇🌹🍇🌹You want to grow fat and fresh in that marriage? Then stop being tightfisted to your Mate. Stop counting how many times you’ve already given and how your partner hasn’t even given for once. Don’t look at your partner. Look at the Scripture!

🍇🌹🍇🌹Wife, throw away all those lies you’ve heard that if you give your body to your husband extravagantly he’ll see you as a cheap woman and that he’ll no more respect you. Go against that lie. Give yourself liberally to him and you’ll be fattened in that Marriage.

🍇🌹🍇🌹Husband, give your total love and commitment to your wife. Court her, adore her and celebrate her! Give her your time, attention and affection. Listen to her. Forget the children sometimes and be her boyfriend, lover and sweetheart.

🍇🌹🍇🌹Take her out as much as your wallet allows. Yes, spoil her silly with love and appreciation. Not even for her to thank and appreciate you but as an expression of your love and allegiance to her. And as you do, God’s Word will cause your life to experience divinely orchestrated fattening!!!

🍇🌹🍇🌹Finally, note that the second part of our anchor scripture has a striking application to couples. This is because in the Bible, Sex is referred to as WATER(Proverbs 5:15).

🍇🌹🍇🌹Our anchor scripture tells us that he who waters another shall be watered. So watering your mate sexually and doing so faithfully and liberally will activate a divine watering of your own life too.

🍇🌹🍇🌹Give to each other. When you give to your husband or wife you’re actually giving to yourself. It’s as simple as that.

🍇🌹🍇🌹In conclusion, hear this: you won’t always have your spouse to give to. So, give to them now while you’re with each other. It’s a privilege and opportunity you should fully utilize.

🍇🌹🍇🌹Stop hoarding your material and love assets. Give them liberally to each other and see your marriage grow tall and strong like the Cedar of Lebanon.
