LOVEBIRDS’ ALL MARRIED LOVERS’ WEEK (LAMLOW) DAY 5

Scripture:
‘My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.’
(Song of Solomon 2:10)

TODAY FRIDAY July 26, is “OUTDOOR LOVE DAY” in our current Programme for all married couples themed: LOVEBIRDS’ ALL MARRIED LOVERS’ WEEK (LAMLOW).

It’s important for Spouses everywhere to know that Married Love must not be confined to the inner chambers or the bedroom. Or just to our home and compound. Of course, there are many practices of our calling as Covenant Lovers, Lovebirds and Married Lovers that should not be seen by more than four human eyes: our eyes and those of our marriage Partner.

But for our union to continually thrive as it should, there’s a need for it to be be refreshed and renewed from time to time. And for this to be, it’s important for us to go outdoors together as Spouses from time to time.

Today, sit down and make a quick plan on how and where to have a TIME OUT together.

It’s very true that major love outings need detailed planning and financial preparations to back them up. However, we can always embark on low-key outings that would still impact our union and bring about exhilarating changes.

Outdoor Love renewal activities, though novel, are not new. Devoted Married Lovers through the ages have known that when you stay within the confines of the four walls of your home from year to year, boredom and weariness walk into your marriage. One way to arrest this before it wrecks your union is to plan a “Get Away” to ventilate your union. In the Song of Solomon, the Spouses each suggested a “Get Away” on different occasions. Here’s one:

“Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.
Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: THERE WILL I GIVE THEE MY LOVES.”(Song of Solomon 7:11-12)

Our anchor scripture for today is another:

“My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and COME AWAY.”(Song of Solomon 2:10)

Your marriage needs to be nurtured. One of the ways to do so is for you and your Mate to “relocate” once in while to a place outside your Home that offers a good atmosphere and the right ambience.

Your stay could be for an evening, a day or two; just to be alone together and minister attention and affection to each other.

Today, make out time to step out of your home together to be apart for sometime. You could visit an Eatery and have a good time together while you sip a drink and munch on chicken thighs.šŸ—šŸ—šŸ˜
