TODAY IS THE LAST DAY in the first edition of LOVEBIRDS’ ALL MARRIED LOVERS’ WEEK (LAMLOW). It’s my hope that you’ve participated in this unique married couples’ event and gained from it.

As highlighted on the first day of the 6 Day Programme, today Saturday 27 July is ONE FLESH DAY and participating Spouses are to re-consummate their marriages by having deluxe sex.

Good as it is to have deluxe sex, the truth is that you can’t have such a level of intimacy without a proper understanding of what Sex as intended and ordained by God is. Because it’s the quality of Sex as intended by God in the Beginning that’s Deluxe Sex.

In the first record of Sex in God’s Word, the Act is referred to as KNOWLEDGE:

“AND ADAM KNEW EVE HIS WIFE; and she conceived, and bare Cain”(Genesis 4:1a).

This implies that even though they’d lived together, they had only SEEN each other and BEEN with one another. The Act of opening their bodies to each other and mingling as one, brought them to a new place of a knowledge of one another they’d never had!

A sober meditation on the truth in the last paragraph teaches us that, Sexual Intimacy in marriage isn’t a mere fling. Neither is it a casual, superficial and hurried act that lasts moments or a few minutes at best. It’s rather like a great summit or conference where delegates come together and take time to attend to the business of the convention. In the case of matrimonial sex as ordained by God, the delegates are only two persons: the husband and his amiable wife. They strip completely and willingly give themselves wholly to the purpose of their “gathering” which is to “learn” each other, go deeper in the KNOWLEDGE of one another and come to a higher place of a more profound oneness that makes their covenant relationship deeper than what it had ever been.

And when you realize the stunning fact that the sexual organ of the husband is like a Pen for writing and that of the wife is like a Book, you’ll marvel! It confirms the sobering truth that Sexual Intimacy in Marriage is a place of learning and gaining a deep flesh and soul knowledge of one another.

When the Queen of Sheba traversed lands and rivers, and finally met King Solomon face to face, she had a deeper and personal KNOWLEDGE of the sagacious King.

“4 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built,

5 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her.

6 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.

7 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.”(1 Kings 10:4-7)

The Queen of Sheba’s visit to King Solomon gives us a picture of what the encounter of husband and wife in matrimonial Sex as ordained by God is. Her visit was not a hurried one. She stayed as the King’s Guest and saw much of his royal and religious life and gained a better and fuller knowledge of him that transcended what she’d heard about him. Similarly, sexual intimacy in marriage is an unhurried royal congress that affords Spouses a vivid and fuller view of each other’s body and soul as they bare all and blend as ONE. It’s by far loftier than the wishy-washy and animalistic act of lewdness that fornicators, adulterers and adulteresses pollute themselves with, as the helpless captive slaves and bondmen of LUST that they are. It’s a thing of great pity for a married Man or Woman to be dragged by LUST from their honourable marriage bed to go aside and defile themselves and stupidly call it “Cheating”. Of course, it’s cheating. They cheat themselves of God’s best as a result of ignorance. And that’s why God’s Word says:

“My people are destroyed for lack of KNOWLEDGE”(Hosea 4:6a)

“Therefore my people are gone into CAPTIVITY, because THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.”(Isaiah 5:13)
So, it’s LACK OF KNOWLEDGE that drives unfaithful husbands and wives into sexual immorality which is chaff in comparison with Deluxe Sex as ordained by God and given to married couples.

This morning, you and your spouse are going to pray.

(1) You’re going to give thanks to God for the glorious Gift of Matrimonial Sex. You probably have never done this.
(2) You’re going to request for divine insights and understanding about this marvelous Gift.
(3) You’re going to ask to be given divine Grace to enable you excell in this aspect your marriage.
(4) PRAY FOR THE WISDOM TO SEE INFIDELITY AND EXTRAMARITAL AFFAIRS AS THE HEINOUS SIN THAT THEY TRULY ARE.
PRAY FOR A DEEP HATRED AND AVERSION TOWARDS THEM.

Pray in faith and you’ll be amazed at the outcome.
