GOD’S IDEA OF A HOME in the he beginning wasn’t a “confinement” built with dried wood, concrete and metals. It was rather a lush, luxuriant and luxurious Garden that overflowed with fresh fruits, ornamental trees and fragrant flowers that made it an earthly extension of Heaven. That’s where the first Lovebirds, Adam and Eve lived and practiced Love and Marriage. The point here is, Lovebirds and Beautiful Outdoor Life go hand in hand. Lovebirds naturally thrive in an atmosphere of beauty, privacy, serenity, calm and under the open sky.

Compared to the Garden where God placed the first Lovebirds, our present homes with all their metal “protectors” look more like cages for wild beasts. But we’re not to blame as all that are as a result of The Fall.

But with the knowledge we’re gaining from this and the previous day’s Devotional piece, we’re learning that it’s important to “take” our Marriages outdoors from time to time. Staying within the four walls of the homes perpetually makes our union get stuffy. Going out together alone without the kids gives our union some “ventilation” that renews and refreshes our minds, moods and stirring up the Romantic feelings again.

You can plan a major or minor vacation; a Weekend Love Retreat, an “Evening To Remember” that lasts just a couple of hours or you could take a walk together for half an hour in your neighborhood just to be together alone under the open Sky. But by all means, make it a part of your marital practices to have A Special Time Out Together (ASTOT) every now and then. It isn’t only good but very important for your Love Life as LOVEBIRDS.
