God has sent us to quietly ingnite a Holy Revolution in Marriages and this work is to be done not by inciting any spouse to some negative action but by spreading the truths, counsels, instructions and doctrines of God on Marriage.

Have you ever wondered why very many married men and women go into extramarital affairs? It isn’t just because of Lust. Neither is it because they married the wrong persons. It’s largely due to the hollowness, boredom, dullness and sourness in their marriages; which are all as a result of the form of marriage they practice.

When your marital practice is based on the culture and traditions of men and not on the whole counsel of God on Marriage, it will certainly be controlled and regulated by superstitions, myths, customs, taboos and fallacies. With all these negative “controls” at work in your marriage, it cannot be sweet, thrilling nor romantic. You don’t need to think deeply to understand this. Just look back at the marriages of most of our parents and grandparents and see how much romantic love they had in their union. Their marriages were virtually empty of romantic love and affection. And that’s part of the reason our ancestors were mostly polygamous. Tradition, customs and culture made the Wives opposites of what Eve was in the Garden of Eden. They also made Husbands opposite of who Adam was in Eden. Instead of Cleaving to their Wives enhantedly as Adam did to Eve, Husbands
view staying with their Wives and sharing companionship with them as unmanly and effeminate. They believed instead, that a man should spend his after-work time outside the home. He should be in “manly places” such as beer parlour, lawn tennis courts, clubhouses, in the company of his male friends, etc. Indeed, he could be anywhere else but not with his Wife. And he should return home only for supper, watch the news and then sleep with her. Why should he be a “Woman Wrapper?” So, tradition created gulfs and rifts between spouses. And how would the Wife gladly give her body to a man who has no value for her person but abandons her at home all day long only to come for Sex at night?
This is how Marriages have been made “of no effect” by the traditions of men. Exactly the same way the devil cunningly used the tradition of men to make the Jewish people different from the holy people God intended them to be, even as our anchor scriptures show us today.

Dear Married Couples, MARRIAGE REVOLUTION is here! God is out to forcibly overthrow the traditions of men that have been destroying your marriage.

It’s time to rediscover the amazing Wife/Husband that God has so lovingly blessed you with. It’s high time the cobwebs that the devil has placed over your eyes were removed so you’d see clearly the wonderful qualities and attributes of your precious mate.

For this Revolution to thoroughly sweep through your marriage, you must be hungry for the teachings of the Word of God on Marriage. You must say NO to marital ignorance and say YES to the Knowledge of the whole counsel of God on Marriage. You must endeavour to read the Lovebirds’ Daily Devotional unfailingly EVERYDAY. It may be long but endeavour to read each piece to the end and do the daily assignments. And don’t forget to forward each edition to your friends who are married.
