GOOD MORNING, AND WELCOME to class on the second day of our ongoing MARRIED COUPLES’ SCHOOL OF ROMANTIC LOVE. Here are your lecture notes for today.
LECTURER: PST. ANSELM AHMAN, DIRECTOR MAXIMUM MARRIAGE MINISTRIES.
(1) YOUR MARRIAGE IS DIFFERENT FROM YOUR FAMILY.
On the day you got married, God joined you and your spouse and you became one flesh. It’s that One-Flesh unit consisting strictly of you and your Mate that’s your Marriage. It’s distinctly different from your family.
Your family consists of you and your children and you all live under the same roof; yet you must be careful not to mix the two. You must watch against allowing the family to smother the marriage or crowd it out.
Your children, as precious and dear as they are to you, are not in any way part of your Marriage and never will be.
Husband, you’re Father, Daddy and Papa to the children but never any of those to your Wife. You’re her Boyfriend, Lover, Sex Partner and Spouse. Your general title or name for all these legitimate identities and roles in her life is HUSBAND.
Madam, you’re Mother, Mummy and Mama to your children but you’re never to perform those roles in the life of your husband. He’s had his own mother long ago. You’re his Girlfriend, Lover, Inamorata, Consort, Sugar Baby and Sex Partner. And your general title or name for all these proper and God-assigned roles in your husband’s life is WIFE.
Your understanding and consciousness of your identities as clearly spelt out in the last two paragraphs will easily help you to see that you don’t need a so-called Side-Chick or a Side-Dude because you already have a far better one in the person of your Spouse who is your God-given romantic and sexual lover. With this knowledge safely lodged in your heart, nothing will make you condescend to commit Adultery.
2) FUND YOUR MUTUAL ROMANTIC LIVES; INVEST IN YOUR MARRIAGE Yesterday, we saw that Extramarital Affairs don’t just happen. They’re well-funded from the pockets of the men involved. If this accursed counterfeit of Marriage is funded, is it the Original that’s divinely endorsed that should be left bare and had without the enriching trappings and embellishments that money can provide?
Spouses, please, wake up! Invest in your romantic lives. This is because, romantic love is the natural bridge that leads to consensual
and spontaneous sexual intimacy where no one begs the other to consent.
So, what should you do? Here are some ideas:
A) INVEST IN YOUR BEDROOM. You can make your bedroom as beautiful and as enticing as the suites in the big hotels if you have the money. Engage the services of a professional and you’ll be surprised at how transformed and inviting your formally boring bedroom becomes.
B) KEEP SPECIAL FOODS AND DRINKS IN THE BEDROOM SPECIALLY FOR YOUR ROMANTIC TIMES
Keep fried meat, snacks, cake, honey, fruits, healthy juice drinks, etc, somewhere in the bedroom for your mutual enjoyment during your romantic moments.
C) INVEST IN ROMANTIC NIGHT WEARS. Those girls they take to five-star hotels are not even equal to you, Madam. Have the Girlfriend mindset. Crowd out the children and kitchen work from your mind once in a while and think of how to ravish your husband. Think often of how to sweep him off his feet sexually.
Invest in beautiful and sexy panties, lingeries and nightgowns that you’re sure will not just attract your husband’s attention but will move him towards you like a powerful magnet!
Husband, invest in good, colourful and attractive pyjamas that will thrill your wife when you’re wearing them.
(D) INVEST IN YOUR BODY.
Bathe thoroughly at least once in a day.
Meticulously and consistently observe oral hygiene to avoid offensive mouth odour. Keep your fingernails always well filed; your armpit and pubic hairs well combed and attractive.
Invest in perfumes, scents and deodorants.
Smell sweet, fragrant and enchanting to your spouse. Makes them want to draw closer to you. Hear the lady in the Song of Solomon:
“MY LOVER HAS THE SCENT OF MYRRH AS HE LIES UPON MY BREASTS.” (Song 1: 13; GNT)
On the matter of smelling sweet, it’s even more crucial when you’re a redeemed child of God.
In Psalm 92, Believers are likened to the Date Palm tree and the Cedar of Lebanon:
“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.”(Psalm 92:12)
These two trees, the Date Palm and the Cedar, are both evergreen in nature; meaning their leaves are fresh and green all the time. This is how your love life should be: evergreen, fresh, fadeless and flourishing; irrespective of Age.
Now, the wood of the Cedar of Lebanon is highly fragrant. Infact, if the sap of the Cedar wood drops on your dress, the fragrance would take a very long time to fade. This is the wood you’re likened to as a Believer. Like this wood, you should not only be spiritually sweet smelling but also
PHYSICALLY FRAGRANT AND AROMATIC to all who come in contact with you, especially your Spouse who lives with you. Consistent cleanliness and the use of perfumes are imperative for you. Don’t say that you don’t want to be worldly because the use of perfumes is never worldly and has nothing to do with worldliness. Neither say that you don’t have the money. Close your eyes and buy yourself a good body perfume and fragrant hair cream regularly. Smell sweet round the clock! That’s part of investing in your marriage and romantic life.
(3) STRONGLY BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU’VE BEEN TAUGHT IN THIS SCHOOL OF ROMANTIC LOVE.
This training is good but you can’t go far with practicing all you’ve been taught if you don’t have a strong and abiding faith in the teachings.
Situations and circumstances will arise that will tempt you to forget about living the romantic love life.
But if you believe in it, you’ll not give up for anything.
