In our anchor scripture for today, sexual intimacy in marriage is revealed as a powerful and effective weapon of self defense and protection🛡🛡🛡 against Satan’s fiery arrows 🏹🏹🏹 of lust and sexual Sin.
Our anchor scripture says:
“NEVERTHELESS, TO AVOID FORNICATION, LET EVERY MAN HAVE HIS OWN WIFE, AND LET EVERY WOMAN HAVE HER OWN HUSBAND.” (1 Corinthians 7: 2)
The word “HAVE” used in our anchor scripture means more than just getting a marriage partner for one’s self. It means to have spirited and thorough sexual intimacy with one’s marriage partner on a constant basis; and as a preventive measure against either of you falling into Adultery.
Unfortunately, most married couples don’t have the knowledge of the warfare dimension of Sex. Consequently, they don’t have the consciousness of making love with the purpose of fortifying and equipping one another against the satanic sexual snares that are everywhere.
Dearly Beloved, it’s YOUR DUTY to AVOID FORNICATION just as our anchor scripture tells us.
Fornication will not avoid you. No, No, No! Your costly wedding ring cannot frighten Fornication. Your prefix “MRS” doesn’t intimidate it either. Neither will Fornication avoid you because you’re an Archbishop, a Bishop, a Vicar, a Reverend, a Deacon, an Evangelist, an Elder, a Pastor, a Deaconess, a Pastor’s wife, etc. Instead, it’s the opposite that will happen: FORNICATION WILL PURSUE YOU stealthily like a secret spy because the higher your religious rank, age or social standing, the bigger a prize-catch you are for Satan, if you by some chance fall into any of their carefully hidden sexual scandal traps!
So Spouses, it’s high time you stopped seeing Sex as a plaything. If you are joking with it, the devil certainly isn’t !
