🍊When married men and women go into extramarital affairs, they’re blindly looking for a polluted and virus-infested form of what God has already lavishly given to them in their marriage. It becomes even more painful, when one realises that they pay through their noses to “taste” those tattooed prostitutes or those natty-dread hairstyled gigolos. Sometimes, they’re insulted, ridiculed and even exploited by those promiscuous people they foolishly patronise.
🍊How could someone go to a secret place to ride a dilapidated old car, when they have a beautiful, gleaming and luxurious limousine at home that they rarely drive? Isn’t it madness!
🍊In 1996, I heard of a man who thought it’s a big deal to sleep around. Of course, there are still many of such deluded men and women.
🍊One day, something took him to the hospital and he needed to have some tests run on him. He casually consented. After all, it’s a normal procedure in hospitals.
🍊By the time the result came out, he was informed that he had HIV/AIDS. This was when there were no ante retroviral drugs for managing the scourge. That laboratory test result sent his world crashing. He least expected such a calamitous outcome from his infidelity!
🍊Our anchor scripture is a scream! It’s a loud warning telling you to keep far away from Infidelity because if you don’t, it will cost you the loss of your integrity. It will lead you into the dark dungeon of tragedy and suffering.
🍊Many who are fooling around sleeping with Harlots or Area Boys rarely think about the huge costs that go with infidelity.
🍊Hear the wisdom of God’s Word:
“For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.”(Proverbs 5:3-4). A bitter end awaits all those who embrace extramarital affairs.
🍊If you have ears to hear, then give attention to our anchor scripture for today. Repent of extramarital affairs today and ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and make you a child of God and He will!
