💕🌹🔩In Lovebirds’ Devotional for Tuesday October 21, 2025, titled: LOVE ENGINEERING IN MARRIAGE, we saw that it’s not the dowry paid on the Bride or the vows exchanged in Church on the wedding day that God uses to make Spouses One Flesh. Rather, it’s their first sexual intimacy after all the ceremonies
that consummate and validate the union.
💕🌹🔩We also saw that it’s the duty of the couple to constantly strengthen their bond by practicing Love Engineering (sexual intimacy)in their marriage.
💕🌹🔩Dear Spouses, its important for you to understand that marriage has made you LOVE ENGINEERS. Sounds strange, perhaps even funny and laughable. But it’s nonetheless true. You’re however to engineer your own marriage only!
💕🌹🔩Just yesterday, I worked on loosening some bolts on my television satelite dish.
Simple work but I learned a few lessons.
I realized that the technician who mounted it tightened every nut so strongly that no wind, no matter how ferocious, can blow off any component! But that’s not all. The tightening was so thoroughly done, it took much effort to loosen. And that’s the real lesson!
💕🌹🔩Sir/Ma, how are you CLEAVING to your Mate? Loosely or tightly?
How do you join yourself to your husband or wife during Sex? How do you perform the sexual act? Fervently, seriously, diligently and giving attention to details? Do you do it, pouring all of yourself into it as our anchor scripture commands to do ALL THINGS? Or do you do it half-heartedly, nonchalantly, haphazardly and unenthusiastically as if you’re being forced to participate in something vile and detestable? If your performance belongs to the last description, may God help you! This is because, it won’t take much effort on the part of a smart and seasoned Adulterer/Adulteress to conveniently reach your Spouse and quietly pick them off your bosom. And you may not even realize your loss until long after they’ve thoroughly used and dumped your Spouse.
💕🌹🔩Consider the Engineers who construct telecommunications masts.
💕🌹🔩Every component of the high-tech installation is tightly set in position with bolts and nuts such that for many years, possibly for centuries, no piece of the gigantic edifice falls off to harm any one.
In other words, the Engineers who do these works put in their best, are wholehearted and fully professional when constructing the Masts. The same level of diligence is exercised by the Engineers who construct Bridges. They put in their best at every level of the work, considering the fact that faults and errors on their part could lead to grave tragedies.
💕🌹🔩As a Love Engineer in your marriage, you have a lot to learn from the diligence and dedication of the secular engineers sited above. Know that carelessness in your love engineering work could have negative effects on your marriage.
💕🌹🔩In conclusion, we need to add that it’s not only by Sexual Intimacy that Spouses perform their duties as Love Engineers.
💕🌹🔩You also engineer your marriage and strengthen it by observing all the nonsexual commandments of God on Marriage.
💕🌹🔩As a wife, you’re engineering your marriage and re-consolidating it when you submit to your husband(Ephesians 5:22-24; 1 Peter 3:1).
💕🌹🔩And husbands are engineering their marriage when they love their wives supremely as God commands(Ephesians 5:25; Colossians 3:19)
💕🌹🔩Now, that you know that you are a Love Engineer in Marriage, don’t wait to be begged for Sex or any of your other marital obligations by your mate.
💕🌹🔩Always bear in mind that your faithful love engineering activities go a long way to protect, shield, sustain and MAINTAIN your union.
