GOD’S DESIGN FOR SPOUSES IS that they “be High” on each other all the time.
An Online Dictionary defines “being High” as follows:
“Getting high refers to being under the influence of Cannabis. However, more generally, some use it to mean under the influence of drugs. Typically, the more Cannabis you consume, the more “high” you will feel.”
In Marriage, being High on each other means, spouses are overdosed or intoxicated with each other’s body! Such intoxication makes them happily addicted to each other causing their union to be protected from the widespread epidemic of infidelity.
I remember the Christmas of 1970. In the afternoon that day, I saw a young man in his late twenties stagger out of the Bar that was in our neighborhood. As he staggered along, we heard that he had drunk nine bottles of Star Larger Beer! It wasn’t any wonder that he could hardly walk. The greenish brew had “transformed” him. But certainly, he wouldn’t have been drunk if he’d taken just one bottle.
Sir/Ma, if Beer made from the processing of Barley and some other ingredients intoxicate men, then be authoritatively informed that the body of the opposite sex is a more powerful intoxicant and that’s why God tells you to be intoxicated with the body of your marriage Partner. This is so you don’t get intoxicated and addicted to someone else outside your marriage.
Our anchor scripture pointedly tells husbands to be intoxicated with the Breasts of their wives and be DRUNK with her “Love”. Even though our anchor scripture addresses husbands, the command is equally for wives. They are to be intoxicated with their husbands as well.
When a man becomes drunk, he’s quickly in the lighter mood. Restraining factors such as shyness and shame no longer have their hold on him. He talks freely and suddenly becomes extra generous.
Similarly, when Spouses are drunk with each other, negative traits of such as selfishness and individuality are broken and they’re completely open to one another. They each throw away their ego and allow each other full and complete access to each other’s body and belongings.
As we saw in the Online Dictionary definition of “being High”:
“the more Cannabis you consume, the more “high” you will feel.” Similarly, the more of each other Spouses CONSUME romantically and sexually, the more High they’ll be on each other. All this means that the time to increase the quantity and frequency of your consumption of each other’s love by hugging, embracing, touching, kissing and a richer bedroom life has come. After all, who are you hoarding and hiding your love and body for? Make your marriage a daily feast while it lasts!
