GOD NEVER SMILES ON HYPOCRISY AND WE ARE ALL witnesses to the fact that Jesus never suffered religious hypocrites. He was loud in His denouncement of the Pharisees for their deep-seated religious pretenses.
Since God hates hypocrisy in whatever guise, that tells us that He equally hates sexual hypocrisy among married couples.
In one of our recent devotionals, we looked at the fact that there’s nothing like “CELIBOMARRIED LIFE” where you practice 50% Celibacy and 50% Marriage.
If you’re married, be fully married and don’t be a semi-monk. If you’re married, then be an enthusiast and lover of all and everything in marriage: hugs, kisses, embraces, cuddling, lingering pillow talks, etc. To take it further, if you’re married, you should love your Spouse indefatigably, cherishing every feature of their person and life; and being happily optimistic that God will gradually remove every “spot, wrinkles and blemishes” of imperfection there are in their lives, over time.
It’s expedient for us to be constantly reminded of the cruciality and centrality of sex in marriage because it’s the Covenant Act by which the union was consummated in the first place.
In marriage, Sex is never a minor; neither is it just a major. It’s a dominant Major.
In marriage, Sex isn’t a luxury, an occasional meal for the high-days. It’s the couple’s staple diet. Infact, it’s the couple’s drinking water, bathing water🚿🚿🚿🚿, swimming pool🏊🏊🏊 and river as well their scenic water fountain⛲⛲⛲⛲⛲ for visual pleasure and leisure (Proverbs 5:15-17).
One of the functions of the Word of God is to give LIGHT🪔🪔🪔🪔 to light our path so we don’t stumble(Psalm 119:105) while another is to give LIBERTY from ignorance, deception and bondage through the knowledge of the Truth(John 8: 32) and thereby breaking the iron fetters with which the ignorant are bound.
Many Couples are properly married💍💍💍 but are still bound by the iron fetters of ignorance which makes them ashamed to maximize their sexual potentials in marriage as they’re not sexually free with each other.
When you read the Song of Solomon, you find that the couple there are not just completely free with each other, they re-enact the exact quality of oneness and romantic liberty that the first couple enjoyed in Eden🌲🌴🍄🌻. Just like Adam and Eve, they’re oblivious of everything and everyone in their love for each other. You need to come to that level.
In our anchor scriptures for today, it’s the woman speaking. She reveals in Song the position she loves for sexual intimacy. She’s so completely free.
Some would like to say to her, “Haha! Must you say everything? Who even asked you for this detail of your bedroom life? Don’t you have shame?” She’d reply: “Indeed, I don’t have shame. I’m a Word-Washed-Woman and have long been set free from Shame in my relationship with my husband. I relate with him with total freedom.”
Now, a close study of her chosen or preferred intercourse position shows she’s a married woman who’s indeed adept, expert and highly proficient sexually. She had become a a Baroness in the bedroom life.
Of course, her husband must also be a bedroom life Baron because they are on the same ranking romantically, as is obvious from the details of their romantic life in the Song of Solomon.
Sir/Ma, God wants you and your Spouse to also become Sex Baron and Baroness in your marriage. Do you know why? It’s because when you have a mutually strong bedroom life, infidelity will lose its attraction to any of you and this is the perfect will of God for you.
Drug Barons don’t go to steal a pinch of Coke to sniff and feel high. They don’t need to because they have so much more! Similarly, Spouses who are Sex Baron and Baroness in their marriage laugh at Adultery. It’s a pinch of filth they would have nothing to do with because they’re blessed with abundance of Covenant Sex that’s approved by God.
