For us to get a better understanding of the “Silent Power of a Woman”, we shall be looking at the well known story of David and Bathsheba.

Many times, our focus when we read the story of that unhappy incident is the moral failures and tragedies that were it’s unfortunate outcomes.

However, there are positive lessons we could learn from it.

The incident of that day vividly shows “the silent power of Women.”

David was at this time fifty two years old, a powerful King, an invincible warrior, a husband of several wives and concubines.

On the spiritual plane, he was even more. He lived a holy life and was a Prophet.

But when from his rooftop he caught sight of Bathsheba bathing, the Powers of her womanhood set to work without her speaking a word. Infact, she had no idea someone was seeing her; let alone knowing who he was and the deep and extensive level of impact her nakedness was silently effecting.

Her silent powers pulled down King David’s moral, spiritual and royal powers; and he that was sought by millions began helplessly seeking her!

Soon the results of her body’s silent but very powerful force became manifest as the King sent for her. And not long after, other negative and tearful consequences followed.

If a woman’s body could powerfully affect a man negatively from a distance leading to his disgraceful fall, then the same body has the capacity for good: so as to bless, strengthen and morally protect her husband, if she would expose it for him to freely and fully see every day.

Most women hide their bodies from their husband, thinking that it’s a mark of chastity or virtue. The consequence is that when such men see ordinary seminude ladies on the street, they’re trembling with lust.

But when a husband is conversant with the sights of feminine nakedness from his home, he is morally “immunized” against the lust of the eyes and becomes unmoveable by the seductive antics of strange women.

Point: Madam, Use Your Body To Immunize Your Husband!
