🏮🌹Our anchor scripture tells how one man, by name Simon, a Sorcerer, bewitched the entire people in the city of Samaria and because of his witchcraft spell, they all believed that he was a great man.
🏮🌹This shows how Satan and his agents hold entire people in bondage to believing what’s patently wrong.
🏮🌹In line with this form of operations, Satan doesn’t only bewitch people but goes on to blind the eyes of their minds: causing them to be unable to see the good things in the Blessings that God has graciously given them but instead seek for wrong things.
🏮🌹A good instance of the above is how he has blinded the eyes of many husbands to the virtues and the beauties of their full fledged wives and they’re instead hunting for what has come to be called “Sweet-Sixteen”.
🏮🌹And as a result of men’s preference for the so-called Sweet-Sixteen, many married women are working feverishly to look “Sweet-Sixteen” and some have in the process gone on to do cosmetic surgeries that have deformed them. Some have even died all because they wanted to look “sweet-sixteenish”.
🏮🌹The truth is: no man has ever needed a sixteen year old girl to be fulfilled romantically. Not even Adam! Isn’t it madness to have fullripe fruits in your home but prefer the unripe ones that cause dysentery?
🏮🌹When God extracted a rib from Adam’s side to create a wife for him, He had all the power to turn that rib into a sixteen year old girl but didn’t. Why? Because a sixteen year old girl would not be suitable for Adam. He instead went on and created a full fledged woman with curves and contours, full hips, big thighs and a full shock of pubic hairs; protrusive backsides, stretch marks, thigh dimples, drooping breasts and indeed, all the other marks of adult womanhood that you see in wives today. And when Adam beheld her he joyfully exclaimed:
“This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called WOMAN, because she was taken out of Man.”(Genesis 2: 23).
🏮🌹He didn’t say, “She is a Girl”, because she wasn’t. Neither was she a Big Girl, a Slay Queen or a Tomboy. She was a Total Woman: full-grown, adult female and wholly feminine! And that’s God’s best for every man as a wife.
🏮🌹And God created every woman to grow more womanly
with every new day and every new year. He didn’t create her to grow backwards and become a sixteen year old at the age of 40.
🏮🌹So it’s abnormality for a wife of 40 to be striving to look “sweet-sixteenish” because of her bewitched husband who is crazy about teenage girls. That husband needs deliverance and counseling.
🏮🌹The Virtuous Woman of Proverbs 31 was not a sweet-sixteen. See how she’s loudly praised as a woman and as wife?
🏮🌹Mama Sarah whose beauty attracted the praise of the Princes of Egypt and whom Pharaoh took, wasn’t a sixteen year old. She was in her 70s at the time!
🏮🌹Any husband who is longing for another woman other than his wife, whether a sixteen year old or older, has a problem with LUST. Thankfully, it’s a problem that could be solved. Sir, all you need to do is to humbly get on your knees and sincerely call on Jesus Christ to come into your heart and He will save you.
🏮🌹 And wives, please hear this: Marriage and motherhood do not mean that your days of looking good are over. No, they’re not! Look sweet for your husband everyday. Smell sweet and romantic; and look tantalizing and “take away”! And be flirtatious and… what else? Yes, be loving and kind, gracious and open legged! That way, your husband won’t be lured by the witchy thoughts of “Sweet-Sixteen”.
