THE WEAPONS OF STRANGE WOMEN

Scripture:

‘EVERY WISE WOMAN BUILDETH HER HOUSE’

(PROVERBS 14: 1A)

I WAS ONCE IN THE HOME OF A CHRISTIAN LEADER who related how a lady boasted about a State Governor being in her hip pocket! When a woman speaks so audaciously, don’t think it’s empty talk. She knows exactly what she’s saying. If Delilah told you that Samson was in her Skirt’s hip pocket would you have doubted her? Strange women strangely have strange ways of catching men who are by age, intellect and status in society far beyond them. This is because they’re subtle, shrewd and in many cases armed with sorcery.

However, a housewife who is born again child of God and abiding in Christ is BY FAR MORE POWERFUL and can counter their activities, should they seek to capture her husband.

Now, let’s look at the weapons of strange women.

THE WEAPONS OF STRANGE WOMEN

(1) SORCERY
By Sorcery we mean, in a nutshell, the use of diabolical powers.

Many of the strange women are not empty-handed of charms, fetish instruments and occultic tools. They deploy these against their targets in the most unexpected of ways.

A Pastor’s wife told how a Lady and Church member that was calling her “Mummy, Mummy” presented her a seemingly harmless Perfume as Gift. She joyfully received it but didn’t take time to pray over it before usage. And from the moment she sprayed it on her body, her husband began to avoid sexual intimacy with her. The man ended up eloping with the young woman who gave his wife the Perfume gift. They went to a neighbouring city where he formally married her; forsaking his legitimate wife and their children! This is just one among several of such incidents that have been orchestrated by Strange Women!

YOUR COUNTER WEAPON AS A WIFE
Don’t wait until your husband gets snatched to seek for how to rescue him.
BE A PRAYING WIFE! Pray for him daily that God keep his path from crossing with those of strange women.
Your Prayers can SHIELD HIM from the reach of all evil women!

(2) FLATTERY
“Wisdom will deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger, WHO FLATTERETH WITH HER WORDS”(Proverbs 2:16)
What does it mean to flatter? According to the dictionary, to flatter means: to
lavish praise and compliments on someone hypocritically; with the aim of gaining access into their lives. This is something strange women are very good at.

Let’s consider at the following scenario:

A husband is constantly henpecked, nagged at, ridiculed, despised and talk down to at home by his arrogant wife; and even insulted sometimes before his children and neighbours by her. He now meets this “yummy” lady at the shopping mall whose body seems to be screaming: “Sir, come and hug me, come and hug me!” Not just that, the pretty lady is stealing glances at him again and again and finally walks up to him and says, “Sir, please, don’t be offended. Please, aren’t you the bosom friend of Governor Diamond whom I saw at his birthday last year?” When the man smiles and politely answers, “No, I’m not. Thanks!” She smiles back and says, “Wow, but you’re exactly as handsome and as gorgeous he is. And I really think you’re even more handsome because you’re athletic and better built; whereas he has a pot belly. Wow, it’s indeed a pleasure meeting you, Sir. Ehh…Sir, please may I have your line, if you don’t mind? Or would you rather prefer that I give you mine so you’d call me? I work with Aljazeera as the Regional Coordinator.” In all likelihood, your husband would exchange phone numbers with her because it looks all so harmless. Besides, he doesn’t meet Aljazeera Regional Coordinators every day so wouldn’t like to miss the opportunity of having her line. But that phone number exchange may be the beginning of the fall of your marriage.

YOUR COUNTER WEAPON AS A WIFE

The Bible says:
“BETTER TO LIVE IN A WILDERNESS
THAN WITH A NAGGING AND HOT-TEMPERED WIFE.”(Proverbs 21:19)
Do you hear that? So watch your mouth as a married woman because NAGGING AND ANGRY UTTERANCES could drive your man far away into a “wilderness” to your greatest shock and regrets! Some men just got tired of their wife’s poisonous mouth and left home and have not returned till date!

Men also enjoy hearing admiration, compliments, praise and peaceful discussions. Your man is not a devil! There are certainly many admirable qualities in and about him. Admire him! Stop the henpecking. Stop heating up the house and making it uncondusive for him just as you promised.

I once read of a Medical Doctor who abandoned his wife and went and cleaved to another lady who was a mere petty trader. What was his reason? His wife had no respect for him. He felt emotionally safer with the petty trader who highly esteemed him.

If you don’t value your husband, there are enough pretty ladies out there who will use FLATTERY to woo him into their embrace. Don’t let them get him! From time to time, sit down with your man and sincerely admire, praise, commend and appreciate his position and contributions to your life and the children’s.

(3) STRANGE WOMEN ARE FREE FROM SHAME AND SHYNESS

“So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him” (Proverbs 7:13)
The scripture verse above tells how a strange woman met a young man on the street at dusk and began kissing him. She didn’t wait for the young man to take the initiative. No. She initiated the romantic interactions. Why? Because she had long done away with shame! Strange Women have long since thrown away Shyness and Shame.

If you know your Bible well, then you’ll know that there was nothing like Shyness and Shame in the life of the first married couple. God never put them in their lives. No! Shyness and Shame are offshoots of Sin!! But if you’re a married woman who’s redeemed from Sin by the precious Blood of Jesus Christ, then you have no business allowing Shyness and Shame to have any space in your life and personality because they’ll affect your Marriage negatively.

Some housewives would be burning with sexual desire yet they would not open their mouths and tell their husband. They assume that he’s supposed to know and invite them for sexual intimacy. How is he supposed to know? Is he in your Body? Let’s be frank. Hunger shows in the face because your eyes would be dehydrated and sunken. But when you are starving sexually, it never show in your eyes, legs or anywhere else on your body. So how would your husband know UNLESS YOU TELL HIM?

When you need sexual intimacy with your husband, SAY SO. Don’t let Shyness and Shame close your mouth and enslave you.

Several years ago, a very beautiful housewife came to see me when we had a Marriage Summit in her City.
She said her husband hadn’t called her for sexual intimacy for a long time and she couldn’t tell exactly what was going on. As she was speaking, the Spirit of God impressed it in my heart to tell her to have a bath just before bedtime that night. After bathing and towelling her body, she should rub scented powder on her neck and shoulders, as women do many times after night bath. After that, she should not wear anything but go in the nude into her husband’s bedroom. By the time she finished speaking, I told exactly what was laid on my spirit for her to do. She didn’t argue.

The next day, she came to the Marriage Summit very early and with excitement. As we talked in strict privacy, she told that the result of her
obedience was instant and explosive! It was as if her husband had been eagerly yearning, waiting and longing for that night! Their bedroom time that night was exceptionally glorious.

Dear married woman, throw Shame and Shyness far away from your marital life as a housewife. You’re a woman. Live out your gender name! “WOO” YOUR HUSBAND ALL THE TIME because you’re the WOOOMAN God sent into his life to do just that!
