Sir, when God made Man, He consciously designed him to GROW from childhood to old age; and every stage in the growth process isn’t just beautiful but peculiar, unique, distinct and GLORIOUS. This is because at each stage, we manifest all the more, the image of God in which were created. At every stage of growth and development, we’re awesome and that’s why God tells husbands, as we can see in our anchor scripture, to REJOICE WITH THE WIFE OF THEIR YOUTH. He didn’t say to rejoice with your youthful wife but with the wife whom you married in your youthful days. This implies that you don’t need a youthful woman; rather you should mutually intensify your love and romance; and discover the amazing features of the bigger world of adult passion and sexuality.

Very unfortunately, we are in a generation that feverishly celebrates marriage anniversaries on social media, flaunting pictures taken in beautiful photo studios
but still think it’s odd and awkward to grow grey hairs.

Most men hate to see grey hairs on their own head and when they spot some on the head of their wife, they’re alarmed and begin squirming: “What? You mean this woman is as old as this now? I better go and buy her a Wig immediately!”

Sir, Marriage isn’t dependent on beauty, smooth skins and dark hairs of the youthful days. Rather Marriage thrives on LOVE!

God instituted Marriage and commands you, as a husband, to REJOICE WITH THE WIFE OF YOUR YOUTH. She may be much older now and may no longer be as flashy as she used to be but the fact is: neither are you getting any younger. As already hinted, Love and Marriage are not even dependent on youthfulness and smooth skins.

To REJOICE WITH YOUR WIFE means: be romantic, passionate, affectionate, and amiable to the Wife of your youthful days. It further means: CELEBRATE HER, CHERISH HER AND ADORE HER! It means, consciously and intentionally make her your CELEBRITY. When a person is your celebrity, you proudly wear their T shirt, isn’t it? So, how about getting a beautiful photo of your wife printed on a quality T shirt and wearing it around town?

God warns husbands against strange women (Prov. 5:1-14). Their lips may appear kissable, but don’t be deceived because they can only give you THE KISS OF DEATH.

Be content with your Wife despite her imperfections. Love her and lavish your care on her and she’ll grow better and sweeter for you.

In closing, let me tell you a couple of secrets: In the World of Marriage, a wife is like a rich and well brewed Wine. The older she grows, the sweeter and richer she tastes: sexually and romantically. And the more intoxicating her love becomes.

Secret No. 2. As your wife grows older, invest in her happiness, HEALTH and fulfillment. If you have the money, spend so much of it on her and you’ll see a new glow and radiance around her that’s of a richer hue and apparently deeper than the superficial beauty of girls.
