Dear spouse, just as we said in yesterday’s devotional message, you are a sexual services provider assigned to your husband or wife. How effective and efficient are you in that duty post? Are you an enthusiastic, eager, ecstatic, and dedicated sexual partner to your mate, or are you grumbling, laid-back, slovenly, and sloppy?

After a successful marriage seminar in a certain church, I went with the senior pastor to his office. In the course of our discussion, he suddenly dropped what I considered a bombshell: “The church is full of impotent men!” he said.
Are you a wife or a husband? It is high time you checked your sexual services delivery ratings. It is high time you did an assessment of your bedroom performance. How? Check it with the scriptures. Are you complying with scriptural demands? Or are you performing below it’s commands in 1 Corinthians 7: 2-5?

For a long time, it has seemed that spouses who sneak away from their partners to commit adultery are “devils.” But in several cases, this isn’t so. Some of them are driven by a burning sexual hunger resulting from the poor sexual service delivery of their mate at home. Nevertheless, there is never an excuse to justify adultery in the sight of God.
🤍🩷🧡MARRIAGE IS DIVINELY MONITORED
A very elderly man once told me how his wife refused him sexual intimacy for over ten years. I’ve seen another man whose wife refused sex for fourteen long years! Spouses who deny their marriage partner sex seem to believe that their mate is at their mercy and that nothing will happen to them(the oppressors). But this isn’t true. God is the Founder and Owner of the institution of marriage, and He hasn’t gone on leave.
🤍🩷🧡A CALL TO REPENTANCE
If you are afflicting your mate by deliberately offering them “epileptic,” unreliable, and unpredictable sex, you had better repent; otherwise, God might soon replace you with a “solar power spouse.” If you are in doubt, ask Tamar what happened to her first and second husbands (Genesis 38:6-10).
🤍🩷🧡GOD AS THE DELIVERER OF THE SEXUALLY OPPRESSED
God does not need to consult anyone to save a spouse if their partner is holding them down through sexual cruelty and subjugation. Why? Because it is His duty to deliver the oppressed, and He never shies away from doing it:
”The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed” (Psalm 103:6).
