🎈🍹Marriage is not not for chicken-hearted and the lilly-livered. Why?
🎈🍹 It’s because there will be hundreds of challenges. To succeed in marriage you must be brave, courageous and lionhearted.
🎈🍹Today, we’re looking at a couple that was indeed lionhearted in their time. Their names? The husband: Amram. Wife: Jochebed.
🎈🍹They lived in Egypt at the time the King of Egypt decreed death on every male child born to a Hebrew family.
But they were not afraid of the King’s decree of horror!
🎈🍹They went on and got married.
Did they intend to “survive” and “stay safe” by using contraceptives? No! They had a rugged faith that God would protect them!
🎈🍹With that Faith they gave birth to their first born, a girl they named Miriam, followed by a boy they named Aaron and a third child named Moses!
🎈🍹And when the third child was crying so loud at the age of three months, they were not scared. They made an ark, put him in it and placed it among reeds in the river.
🎈🍹God saw their faith and trust in Him and arranged for the King’s daughter to adopt the third child: Moses.
🎈🍹Moses grew up to become a mighty Prophet God would use to bring His judgement upon Egypt and it’s gods!
🎈🍹The other children Miriam and Aaron? Oh, God handpicked them to be Prophetess and High Priest respectively.
🎈🍹At the time they braved marriage, they never imagined that their union would produce spiritual giants. But their bravery and faith in God made it possible.
🎈🍹As a couple, don’t let fear cripple you!!
🎈🍹Don’t let challenges make you change your mind and take negative steps that would destroy your marriage.
🎈🍹There is no challenge that has no answer or solution in God. And there’s no challenge that has no expiry date. Furthermore, no challenge is new: people have faced them before you and overcome them and so can you!
🎈🍹If your husband has weak erections, that’s no reason to begin think of infidelity, masturbation or using sex toys. Or worse still, leaving the marriage. Pick up your Faith and get into God’s presence in prayer and see the living God give you glorious answers, amazing victories and mind-blowing testimonies!
🎈🍹If your wife isn’t conceiving, that’s no reason to become dismayed and begin planning to go polygamous. Pray to God in persevering and persistent Faith and you will see God’s glory just as Isaac and Rebecca did.
🎈🍹Live your married life holding firmly to Faith and Trust in God; and you will be triumphant over every challenge the devil throws at you as a couple!!!
