⏳⏰🕘🕰️On the day you and your spouse got married, God knew exactly the date and the moment DEATH would bring your union to an end.
⏳⏰🕘🕰️From the moment you became man and wife, every second that ticked reduced the bulk time given to you and your mate to spend together, enjoy each other, sharpen and shapen one another, etc.
⏳⏰🕘🕰️Unfortunately, very many couples waste their allotted “marriage time” in fighting each other. Some spend much of this beautiful time in extramarital affairs and defiling themselves.
⏳⏰🕘🕰️Our anchor scripture is a Prayer. The Psalmist prayed God to help him to be conscious of the brevity of life and to live a life that’s controlled by divine wisdom.
⏳⏰🕘🕰️Sir/Ma, if you were told that you have only 48 hours left to spend with your spouse, how would you live with them? What would you spend most the time left doing with them? Definitely not quarrelling, screaming at them, finding faults; etc.
⏳⏰🕘🕰️ Soberness and calmness would instantly take over your heart and mind. You would hold your Spouse’s hand… speak softly, gently and sweetly to them… you’d shed tears, wipe them, kiss and cuddle together. You won’t wait to be requested for sexual intimacy… you’d happily strip and make love to your husband or wife as best you know. You will tell them where your money is …who owes you what …and the names of those to whom you’re indebted. Yes, you will do all you can to make your Spouse remember you with love and fondness after you’re gone.
⏳⏰🕘🕰️The question is: don’t we know the things mentioned in the last paragraph? We do but we foolishly take life for granted. We rarely think it necessary to pause, evaluate our lives and live more soberly.
⏳⏰🕘 Sir/Ma, it’s time to slow down and live with a strong consciousness of the THE END! Invest every second of the time you have left in adding something of worth to the life of your Mate.
⏳⏰🕘🕰️ We’re no more children. Let’s be wise…sober…grave and solemn. You didn’t marry to be a Wild Man or a Thug Woman to torment your Mate, did you? You married to love, be loved and to be a blessing. Therefore, spend every bit of your remaining time together doing just that! That’s WISDOM.
❤️💕 TONIGHT’S ASSIGNMENT IN THE BEDROOM
Reread the devotional piece just before bedtime and soberly discuss it.
📚📖🌹QUOTES:
“If your Partner is frequently horny, don’t think it’s laughable and something to tease or worse still mock them for. Instead, see it as what it is: a blessing that you’re privileged to partake in and to in that process minister to your Mate and be thereby blessed.”(Anselm Ahman. Lovebirds’ Devotional of August 2, 2024)
