ISAAC WAS 37 YEARS OLD when Sarah his mother died. For three years after her death, Isaac was not himself.
He was disconsolate and unhappy, even though he was stupendously rich, soundly spiritual and enjoyed superb mentorship and guidance from his Father, Abraham, a man who was the very friend of God!
All these wonderful advantages could not shake off the heavy and depressing fog of unhappiness that hung over him.

Our anchor scripture tells us of an amazing change! Marriage miraculously relieved Isaac of depression! Marriage brought COMFORT into his life: “AND ISAAC WAS COMFORTED AFTER HIS MOTHER’S DEATH”

What wealth, riches, spirituality and sonship to a great spiritual icon couldn’t handle, Marriage accomplished OVERNIGHT! Isaac became happy again. Marriage brought joy, peace, rest, and delight into his life on a higher scale than he’d ever known.

Marriage made Isaac merry and “a Merry heart does good like medicine”!

Dear Couple, your marriage was designed by God to BRING YOU LOADS OF COMFORT AND DELIGHT EVERYDAY;
and not headaches, stress, distress and hypertension as the case is with many spouses. A consistently faulty practice of marriage is what makes it a distress rather than a blessing.

This first day of this glorious New Year, you and your partner should lay aside all your past differences and fights. Prayerfully decide with one accord to make your marriage a World of Comfort instead of a theater of war and discord.

💞Lord, help us to practice marriage according to your Word from henceforth.
