🩷♥️🌹💕🪞We all know the work of the Mirror. It is to tell you, in very blunt terms, how you look.
It will show you exactly how the oversized coat you thoughtlessly bought at the ramshackle, second-hand clothing stall, looks on you. If you appear comical and hilarious in the capacious jacket rather than stylish as you had fancied, the Mirror tells you so instantly and in the most plane terms. No flatteries.
🪞And if you elect to strip before your mirror, and stand in the nude, after months of careless eating, just so as to see how you now look; the mirror will not suddenly become afraid of you and start lying. If you now look grotesque and hideously ugly because you’re excessively overweight, the mirror says exactly so. It has no time for ear-tickling sweet-talks. It is never frightened by who you are or what your reactions may be after it has given you the “report card” of your current state of outward appearance. It then becomes your duty to rightly adjust to the reality it has shown you. And that’s how the Word of God is.
🩷♥️🌹💕🪞THE GREATEST MIRROR
The Word of God is the greatest Mirror.
🪞If you read yesterday’s devotional(July 13, 2026, titled: LET YOUR EYES BE OPEN)and have realised that you are not a virtuous woman or Christ-like husband, as you ought to be, but a matrimonial tormentor who has brought so much embarrassment and pain to your spouse by your shameful conduct over the years, then it’s time for repentance and change.
🩷♥️🌹💕🪞THE PARTNER WAS GONE
Many years ago, a gentleman got to know of our outreach to married couples and attended some of our meetings. One day, when I was alone with him in his rather quiet residence, he confessed to me: “Sir, I am a matrimonial failure.” He said it and repeated it; and from his sad and wistful voice, I could sense that he didn’t just fail in marriage, the failure was fatal and disastrous. But one thing I left with, by the time we parted that day, was the fact that he was sincere and truthful. He wholeheartedly admitted his fault. But sadly, there was no opportunity to remedy the wrongs he’d done. The partner was gone.
🩷♥️🌹💕🪞SCREAMING HEART ACHES THAT WON’T GO
When you look at a crowd of human faces, very many of them are faces of those who turned treacherous and wounded a true marriage partner, someone they just didn’t deserve but whom God’s mercy and providence bestowed on them. But in their pride and arrogance, they mistreated that precious spouse and now the person is gone. Today, they’re left alone or have somehow remarried, but the regrets and heartaches over the wrong they’ve done, still follow them, screaming blame and guiltiness in their heart and mind perpetually.
🩷♥️🌹💕🪞IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE PRODIGAL SON
So, if you read yesterday’s devotional message and have seen that you have indeed shamed your husband or wife, it’s time, just as we said earlier, for repentance.
🪞Like the penitent prodigal son, humble yourself and go to your spouse for confession, forgiveness and reconciliation. Don’t for any reason feel too big or too old to admit your faults. If you can, cast aside your pride, and fall on your knees and sincerely plead for pardon for all the pains and shame you have caused them. And then go on to give them your word of promise that you will never again bring shame upon them.
🩷♥️🌹💕🪞THE GREAT JUDGEMENT AHEAD
You need to do this because matrimonial sins are as grievous and deadly in the sight of God as witchcraft, murder, robbery or human trafficking.
🪞When God will carry out His judgement on you at the end of your life on earth, His considerations will include how you treated the life partner He mercifully gave you. Hear what God’s Word says:
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).
🪞It’s your duty to fear God and keep His commandments. And His commandments includes all His instructions on Marriage as found in His Word, the Holy Bible.
🩷Ecclesiastes 12:14 tells us that every secret work will be brought into divine scrutiny by God and judgement passed, including how you treated your spouse in the sacred and secret hours when you were both naked and no one else but God saw all that transpired.

“People who eat flavonoid-rich fruits, such as strawberries, blueberries, apples, pears, and citrus fruits, may have a lower incidence of ED by 9% to 11% than those who eat less of these foods.
Foods high in l-arginine, including poultry, red meat, fish, nuts, and dairy products, help the body produce nitric oxide, which increases blood flow and may help with ED symptoms.
Leafy greens with high levels of nitrates, including arugula, spinach, lettuce, and radish, may help increase nitric oxide levels, which can reduce blood pressure and inflammation.”
