🌽🥑🍏🍎A riveting wife is a married woman who is capable of holding the love and romantic attention of her husband firmly and consistently. Some women do this with diabolical powers involving the use of spells, sorcery, and witchcraft. Such evil powers turn the man into a bemused buffoon who becomes a captive slave and a “yes-man” to his wife.
🌽🥑🍏🍎A GODLY, RIVETING WIFE
Our concern this morning is about becoming a riveting wife by the power of love, righteousness, and godly character.
🌽The godly, riveting wife is gracious, loving, kind, and has so much to offer. She is deliberately and intentionally a “girly girl,” a “sugar cane baby,” and a honeymoon lady. Put another way, she is a Total Woman: an embodiment of all that arouses her husband’s attention. She combines the youthful spirit of a teenage beauty and the concentrated femininity of a mature, full-adult, voluptuous woman that impels her husband toward her. Consequently, her husband finds her entrancing, engrossing, fascinating, compelling, gripping, and absorbing. Her presence in his life makes all other women pale in significance, looking more like silhouette drawings that hold no allure.
🥑Are you wondering in disbelief if such women actually exist? Sure they do! There is evidence in the pages of the Bible. And if they existed in Bible times, it means they exist today as well.
🌽🥑🍏🍎THE SULTRY, VIRTUOUS WOMAN OF PROVERBS 31
In Proverbs Chapter 31, we find such a wife. The Bible says of her:
”11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.”(Proverbs 31:11–14)
🌽Can you see the Virtuous Woman? She was a riveting wife. She was a woman of many parts and colours. Her life was such that she secured her husband’s absolute trust and confidence. She did him good continually. She was resourceful and industrious. She was a shrewd domestic economist and family menu planner who always took the trouble to go into interior villages to buy food for her family directly from the farmers, rather than buying in the city where things were costly. Dear housewife, you can be like this woman—and even better.
🌽🥑🍏🍎RECAPTURE AND RENEW THE QUALITIES THAT DREW YOUR HUSBAND
In over 95 percent of marriages, it is the qualities in the personality of the woman that silently attracted the man’s attention before he proposed marriage. Certain things in her life drew his affection like a powerful magnet. It follows, then, that after they are married, she should endeavour to strengthen those very things regularly.
🌽🥑🍏🍎ROMANCE YOUR HUSBAND!
In her beautiful book titled Romancing Your Husband, Barbara Smith has this to say:
”If a woman spends mental time degrading romance and physical union, she will be less inclined to desire physical expressions of love. However, if a woman envisions herself and her husband engaged in intimacy and uses mental energy to plan romantic encounters, then physical responses follow.”
🥑Does what author Barbara Smith said line up with Scripture? Absolutely! The Scripture says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). Many marriages are perishing because the spouses are not exercising the power of vision to create a better and more robust union that’s ever increasingly sweeter and more thrilling.
🍏In the paragraph quoted above, Barbara Smith is simply saying: do not entertain negative and hostile thoughts about your romantic life, because they will affect you negatively. Rather, sit down and imagine romantic sessions with your hubby again and again, and you will have a flourishing love life with him.
🌽🥑🍏🍎BE A LOVE VISIONARY
An online dictionary defines a visionary as: “an individual with profound foresight, creativity, and imagination who foresees the future and conceptualizes ideas that do not yet exist.”
🌽Only yesterday, I saw pictures as well as a video of Eko Atlantic City—a ten-square-kilometer piece of land reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean on which massive structures, including skyscrapers, have already been built. Do you need to be told that someone sat down and visualized such an amazing possibility?
🥑If someone’s visualization reclaimed about 3.9 square miles of land from the Atlantic, you can also visualize becoming a riveting wife and succeed.
🌽🥑🍏🍎CONCLUSION
Dear housewife, you can become a riveting wife to your husband. It begins with becoming a love visionary. Think about becoming a more attractive wife to your husband. Use your imagination—it is never a waste of time. Doing so might be what saves him from Satan’s many ambushes.
🥑If people could sit down, visualize, plan, and then successfully create a ten-square-kilometer city out of the ocean, becoming a riveting wife is much easier. You can become a riveting wife!🍏🍎
