Enriching Matrimonies

CHOOSE TO BE A QUINTESSENTIAL SPOUSE !

Scripture:
‘WHATSOEVER THY HAND FINDETH TO DO, DO IT WITH THY MIGHT’
(ECCLESIASTES 9: 10A)

🍄🍁Success can be achieved in any field of endeavour.
There was once a man called Nimrod. He achieved great success in hunting. So successful was he in the wild that God took notice of him (Genesis 10:9). Yes, he caught God’s attention.
There was also another man by the name of David. He was a human “fighting machine,” and his success was in wars. He fought great battles and shed so much blood that God took notice of him as a great warrior (1 Chronicles 22:8).
And in modern times, there was a musician, songwriter, and singer who distinguished himself exceptionally in dancing, so much so that he was dubbed “The Duke of Dance.” You’re already guessing his name, I presume—Michael Jackson! In fact, this dancer was so popular that as I typed his first name while writing this paragraph, my phone automatically suggested his surname.

🍄🍁THEY DIDN’T SUCCEED BY CHANCE
None of the successful people mentioned above stumbled upon their success. They poured their hearts into excelling at their hunting, military, and dancing careers, respectively, and the world saw them at the top of their chosen fields.

🍄🍁SUCCESS MAKES YOU STAND OUT
David the Warrior started his military career in the most unlikely of ways: by slinging. As a young shepherd boy, watching over his father’s sheep far from home, he used the hours to sling at birds. Over time, he became an expert slinger, hitting his targets without missing. It was with this skill that he killed Goliath in an epic encounter the world has not forgotten and can never forget.
Michael Jackson started dancing as early as the age of five. Is it any wonder that he had become a dancing genius by the age of twenty-four when his album Thriller was released?
Nimrod must also have poured all of himself into hunting to have achieved his monumental success—so much so that God saw it as worth recording in Scripture.

🍄🍁YOUR MARRIAGE IS A GREAT AND UNEQUALLED CAREER
Many spouses attach very little value to their marriage. To them, it’s like a shoe, a hat, or a bra they bought from a boutique: something acquired and kept in the house that requires no attention or maintenance. As a result, they don’t seek its wellbeing and growth. They are shocked when, one day, a huge conflict arises, and the union reels and collapses in the courtroom: divorce. But this is avoidable once you realize that your marriage is a living union that must be actively fed, adorned and protected daily.

🍄🍁SECRET CHOICES MAKE YOU
You can make a huge success of your matrimonial life and be celebrated, or you could wreck it and become the butt of jokes. It all depends on you. But it starts with a secret choice.
With utmost humility, I testify that I made a very solemn private choice in the first three months of my marriage to be successful in marriage. That choice was known only to God and me. I’ve never spoken about it openly until now and in this Devotional. That choice quietly shaped me. I made it long before the Lord called me to teach marriage. Because of God’s grace and that decision, my wife and I were already practicing lovers long before Maximum Marriage Ministries came into existence in 2001.

🍄🍁DON’T JUST BE MARRIED
So don’t just be satisfied with being married. Go far beyond that. Purpose deeply in your heart to be an exceptionally enjoyable husband or wife to your spouse. Purpose to be a quintessential spouse to your partner for the glory of God. A quintessential spouse is a marriage partner who is an embodiment of all the essences of matrimonial love.🍄

“Be active-aggressive in the bedroom. Be superlative and sensational in bed. Hold your husband’s heart and affection with the hands of your amorousness. Yes, let him know that you’re a “Bedmatician” and a “Bedroom Matchless Grand Mistress!” (BMGM) and that he will never need to go aside to those disease and demon-infested girls/women out there!”(Anselm Ahman. “Chronic unforgiveness in the home programs a model of “gracelessness,” which often teaches children to respond to conflicts with coldness, bitterness, and vengeance.”
