🌹🌹At the beginning of your marriage, God presented you with a very beautiful lady with a shapely and fascinating body, or a handsome and dashing young man. You were both happy and proud of each other, and you have enjoyed one another for many years.
However, it is important for you to know that over time and with age, both you and your spouse will change in appearance to some degree.
🌹🌹SOME LIKE CHERUBS, “EVER YOUNG”
Of course, there are those who, like cherubs, almost retain their youthful glow and poise, with their dentition unstained and unchanged, their backs unbowed by age, and wrinkles doing little or no damage. At 80, so little has been eroded from their physique.
Nevertheless, not everyone is in this category. For the vast majority of spouses, advanced age comes with visible changes such as the loss of some teeth, wrinkles on the skin, many grey hairs, receding hairlines, baldness, changes in fortune, the need to walk with a walking stick, etc.
🌹🌹BLESSINGS, REAL BLESSINGS!
But the truth is, these changes are blessings — pure blessings. And I can hear someone laughing and saying something like, “Are you kidding me? Do you at all mean what you’re saying?” Sure I do. These bodily changes are the very things you were asking for when you prayed for longevity. Long life comes with these tokens of honour and dignity, for that is what they are in the sight of God. Of grey hairs the Bible says:
“The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.” (Proverbs 16:31)
“The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the gray head.” (Proverbs 20:29).
🌹🌹THE GREY HEAD IS A CROWN!
If grey hairs, which many find so embarrassing, are a “Crown of Honour” and the “Beauty of Old Men,” then the stooping back, wrinkled skin, slower movements, and all the other changes that come in the Golden Age are most definitely “Adornments” of honour. God designed them into our DNA for manifestation in our golden years. And since all His works are excellent, these symbols of honour and beauty are excellent.
🌹🌹LOVEBIRDS IN THE GOLDEN AGE
In the Golden Age, you must beware of allowing your heart or mind to be deceived into believing that the youthful body is the best for romantic and sexual intimacy. Many men who believed that lie went out and took a younger woman as a “new wife” to their utter regret.
🌹🌹LOVE RENEWAL AND REINVIGORATION IN THE GOLDEN AGE
The Golden Age is a season to renew, reignite, and refire your love for each other. And there is hardly any romantic or sexual practice and activity you enjoyed during the youthful season of your marriage that you cannot continue to enjoy in your golden years.
🌹🌹MOVE YOUR MARRIAGE TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
So if you are already in the Golden Age, then you need to move your marriage to the next level! And you can both do it.
Be imaginative, creative, innovative, visionary, and forward-thinking. Join your hands and hearts together and discover new and fascinating ways to enrich your matrimony, and you will surely find them. There are literally thousands of them. Open the eyes of your mind and discover them.🌹
