🌅🌄🌌🌠After God made Adam and placed him in the Garden of Eden, He spoke to him about his liberty to eat of the fruits in the vast garden, with the exception of one: the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:16–17).
🌅🌄🌌🌠A DEAFENING SILENCE!
But do you know what? God deliberately refused to talk about man’s sexuality and its use until the person with whom he should use it was with him. It was only after He had created that person and instituted marriage that He spoke to Adam and Eve about sex (Genesis 1:28). Both of them heard about sex at exactly the same time.
And what does that tell us? It tells us that sexual intimacy should strictly be between a husband and wife. It means, then, that every form of sexual activity that is not between a husband and his wife is unlawful, illegitimate, and a perversion, and amounts to sin.
In light of this truth, it means that activities like masturbation, also known as autoeroticism, are not just wrong and deviant but blatantly sinful.
🌅🌄🌌🌠SEXUAL DESPERATION
No matter the height or intensity of sexual desperation a husband or wife may feel, masturbation is completely outside the plan of God for married couples as well as for singles. It is never part of His plan and purpose for any one to resort to masturbation. It’s a domain of captivity and uncleanness where demons cruelly subjugate those who are trapped therein.
🌅🌄🌌🌠SEX TOYS
Now, let’s focus on the matter of sex toys.
Many married couples now use sex toys. Some see them as “modern,” a “new way” to pep up their mutual love lives. But the great question is: Does God approve of such a practice?
Of course, God’s Word says nothing directly about sex toys, but that is not to say that there is no scriptural truth that points in that direction.
🌅🌄🌌🌠LEVITICUS CHAPTER 18
When you read Leviticus 18 from beginning to end, you will understand that every form of sexual activity that differs from sexual intercourse between a husband and wife is completely disapproved of by God and divinely classified as sinful and iniquitous. Consequently they’re unclean and defile those who practice them.
Our anchor Scripture concerns sexual relations with non-human agents. In this passage, sexual activity with animals is forbidden. It’s stated clearly that practicing such defiles the one who does it. It is termed CONFUSION!
If sexual activity with a non-human agent, such as an animal, is divinely categorised as so sinful that it is called confusion, how much worse must sexual intimacy with man-made objects and devices such as sex toys be in the sight of God? Using them defiles those who do and makes them unclean and foul spiritually. It’s indeed Confusion!!!
🌅🌄🌌🌠REASONS NEVER JUSTIFY!
Earlier this year, I heard of a man whose job kept him away from home much of the time. Because he did not want his wife to stray into adultery, he bought her sex toys to use in his absence. She accepted the man-made products as replacements for her husband during his absence and turned to them for sexual relief while he was away from home.
However, by the time he returned and they came together in the same bed as husband and wife, the wife found him far less satisfying than the sex toys. There had been a swap of affection and attachment. She had changed and become more attached to the devices, preferring their mechanical performance to her husband’s natural manhood.
How so tragic!
🌅🌄🌌🌠CONCLUSION
Sexual intimacy is not just an activity; it is a covenant activity with a spiritual dimension. It is a joining together of two lives.
When you join yourself to a sex toy, you have joined yourself to the spirit behind its creation, and that spirit is demonic lust. You may find yourself filled with an insatiable lust that makes you crave a kind of sexual thrill that is unnatural and that no human husband or wife can satisfy.
Sex with sex toys is confusion. If you have become entangled in and addicted to this confusion, then you need deliverance badly. It does not matter the reason you started using these abominable devices; you need to humble yourself and seek deliverance.
