USE YOUR WORDS ARIGHT IN THE MARRIAGE BEDROOM

Scripture:
‘CAUSING THE LIPS OF THOSE THAT ARE ASLEEP TO SPEAK.’
(SONG OF SOLOMON 7: 9B)

🤎🌄🤎When you’re heartbroken, you cry. When a tragedy strikes, you weep. When you hear a very funny joke, you laugh hilariously. You’re only being human.
When you hear a message of joy, you stand up and rejoice. When you’re promoted or a long-awaited dream finally becomes a reality, you burst into jubilation and dance, even when there’s no music playing. And when you hear a powerful sermon about Heaven and Hell in church, you’re sobered up. All these reactions have nothing to do with age, gender, rank, or spiritual office. The simple truth is that human nature responds to sadness, joy, pain, fun, pleasure, divine warnings, and so on.

🤎🌄🤎UNIQUE SOUNDS IN LOVE’S HALLOWED SANCTUM
In the most sacred and hallowed sanctum of marriage, which is the bedroom, spouses experience the joy of married love over and over again.
Just as the body responds to sorrow with tears and grief, so it is also designed to respond to the thrills of married love that spouses experience during sexual intimacy. Therefore, it’s natural for them to want to voice their feelings of intense pleasure during those glorious moments when they are both swept off their feet by the powerful paroxysms of sexual ecstasy. You don’t need to feel awkward about your feelings or the strong urge to express yourself while nearest to your dearest. That feeling isn’t peculiar to you, nor is it new. It is common to all married couples.

🤎🌄🤎IT’S THERE RIGHT IN SCRIPTURE
In the Bible’s book of romantic love, the Song of Solomon, this natural aspect of conjugal love is mentioned. Please read:
“And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.” (Song of Solomon 7:9).
Who are those that are “asleep” in that verse? They are the spouses who are entwined on the bed making love. During this “sleep,” they are both wide awake and can literally “speak.”

🤎🌄🤎SPEAKING DURING THE BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS
As a believer in Jesus Christ and a child of Light, you have the liberty to “speak” in those sublime and ethereal moments. It’s never worldliness or carnality to do so.

Let your expressions in those beautiful moments be such as will minister grace to your husband or wife. The Bible says:
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” (Ephesians 4:29).
This means that even in moments of deep intimacy, you can use your mouth to speak words that will minister “sexual grace” to your marriage partner and romantically edify them.
To edify means to build up and uplift. Your positive words, spoken in the heat of intense sexual pleasure, can build up and uplift the sexual self-esteem and self-confidence of your mate. Those words can intensify their arousal and invigorate their performance.
There are erotically edifying and electrifying words you speak to your partner in just one of those moments that can completely transform their sexual confidence and elevate them to new levels permanently.

🤎🌄🤎TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THOSE MOMENTS
Moments of intense and dizzying sexual ecstasy give both you and your spouse the opportunity to tell one another complimentary things about each other’s intimate appearance.
When your mate dresses up and goes to the office, church, market, or wherever else, people only admire their clothed figure. Only one person sees the naked form of your mate, and that person is you—their covenant marriage partner. It is your duty to mirror back to them their beauty or handsomeness when they are nude.
Therefore, the time of intimacy is the time to shower your mate with praise, admiration, adulation, and encomiums for their amazing physical body. You may have been telling them these things for years, but you need not stop. This is because the human mind never becomes tired of hearing praise and admiration. Besides, you can always rephrase your expressions so that they sound fresh and new.

🤎🌄🤎WORDS ARE CREATIVE AND HAVE POWER
In those wonderful moments in the bedroom, ensure that you speak only positive words because you are in a sensitive season of interaction. Wrong words at such moments can be devastating and damaging. That is certainly not the time to mention the physical attributes of an “ex” who ended up jilting and embarrassing you. Rather, it is the time to celebrate, compliment, and adore the loving mate who chose to love and marry you.

🤎🌄🤎KEEP YOUR VOICES LOW
Even though you have the liberty to express your enjoyment of one another, you must never forget that the home also has other occupants: your children, guests, wards, and perhaps paid domestic servants.
It would be undignified and unbecoming for them to hear your intimate expressions of love. Therefore, exercise self-control. Keep your voices at the level of whispers; after all, you’re not preaching or giving a midnight lecture. So enjoy yourselves, but keep your voices low!

🤎🌄🤎CONCLUSION
During moments of intimacy, use your words to build each other up. Use your words to boost one another’s sexual self-confidence. Speak words that will minister grace, edification, encouragement, and affirmation to each other’s love life.🤎
