🍑🥭🍓🍒When the owner of the field that had been sown with wheat (Matthew 13) heard from his servants that tares were growing luxuriantly in his field alongside his wheat, he was neither surprised nor confused as to the cause.
🍑He instantly knew that it had been done by his enemy, and he also knew the exact solution the challenge demanded and the best time to implement it.
🍑🥭🍓🍒A SERPENTINE BEHAVIOUR
Similarly, infidelity, philandering, extramarital affairs—or whatever other names you may prefer to call it—isn’t a natural behaviour. That’s exactly the very first thing to note about it. It’s an unnatural and compulsive tendency, vice, and malfeasance that originates from the same enemy who made the first couple eat the forbidden fruit even though they were not hungry, bringing them and their unborn offspring to calamitous ruin and suffering.
🥭It’s the same Old Serpent that stirred Cain to an unrelenting and unabating wrath until he gruesomely murdered his one and only brother, Abel, in cold blood, without feeling any remorse.
🍓So, the point is this: the desire to have sex with another person when you have already been blessed with a spouse isn’t merely a temptation, misdemeanor, or misconduct. It’s by far worse, darker, and more sinister. It’s an indication that a malevolent being, even a demonic entity, has gained access to the victim’s life, taken residence in them, and made them its captive puppet and slave.
🍒And the truth is that the pathetic victim isn’t enjoying himself or herself as many suppose. They are under cruel oppression and tyranny.
🍑🥭🍓🍒UNDER A HEARTLESS TASKMASTER
Many years ago, an Evangelist personally shared with me what one of her ministry’s converts—a lady who had been saved by the Lord from prostitution—disclosed to her.
🍑The former harlot told her that in prostitution, the harlots use fetish or diabolical powers to hold the men who patronise them in bondage.
🥭If a harlot found a particular man desirable to retain as an economic slave or “cash cow,” she would carry out a ritual that entailed preparing a fetish meal for him by sorcery.
🍓In the process of cooking this meal, she would strip naked and squat over the pot while it was on the fire, positioning her private parts over it so that the rising steam from the cooking would wash over her private parts and into the meal being cooked.
🍒And whenever the man came, she would serve him “the meal” with smiles. From the moment he ate the meal, his mind would become strangely beclouded, his reasoning faculties blurred, and he would mindlessly obey whatever commands the harlot gave him.
🍇She would command him to bring every salary, business profit, or other income he earned directly to her at the end of the month, and he had no objection but to sheepishly obey. She would take a large chunk of it and hand him the remnant to take home to his family.
🍑🥭🍓🍒THE GREAT REALIZATION
Our first duty in helping hapless victims of the demons of extramarital affairs to walk into freedom is to help them realise that they’ve been taken captive! They’re not smart, “good at cheating and getting away with it,” as they’d foolishly assumed. They are slaves to a demonic entity and badly need to be saved before the enemy ultimately destroys them.
🍌Knowledge of this state of awkward predicament and misery will trigger in the victim the desire and earnestness for divine deliverance. It was the same attitude of earnestness that the prodigal son demonstrated, which led to his freedom. Not until he realised his state of utter hopelessness and despair did he think of going back home to his kind and benevolent father to ask for forgiveness and restoration.
🍑🥭🍓🍒THE LORD IS WILLING TO SAVE YOU!
Sir/Ma, it doesn’t matter how far you have gone in the foolish pathway of ruin called extramarital affairs; the Lord will wonderfully deliver you if only you can turn to Him today, for He said in His Word:
“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” (Isaiah 55:7).
🧡In this verse, all that God demands are repentance and return. Therefore, repent of all your sins. Secondly, come to the Lord.
🍯Jesus said:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28).
🍑🥭🍓🍒BONDAGE TO THE FOUL VICE
A Christian brother once testified of how the spirits of sexual bondage held him in captivity for years. Such was his bondage that, a number of times, he used the last money in his purse to visit the brothel to sleep with a harlot, and he would return home weeping in his heart because he would have to go hungry the next day after servicing the demonic urge for sex.
🍉This is exactly what many of the husbands who are patronising side-chicks are going through: weeping in their hearts in regret after signing away a large chunk of their money to a filthy and mannerless woman who is lording it over them ruthlessly.
🍑🥭🍓🍒CONCLUSION
If you’re trapped in extramarital affairs, it is expedient for you to know that you’re in a very serious spiritual bondage.
🍓Arise like the prodigal son and return to Jesus Christ. Don’t deceive yourself by clinging to your religious title: Pastor, Bishop, Elder, Deacon, or Deaconess. Remember that, in God’s sight, once you forsake righteousness and begin living in sin, your records of righteousness are completely erased. Please, read Ezekiel 18:24.
🥭So, humble yourself like the prodigal son, who returned to his father as unworthy to be called a son. Return to God in true repentance, asking for His forgiveness, and He will freely pardon you and give you the power to live above infidelity.🍑🥭
