🤎📀🍂I first read about him (name withheld) in Pat Robertson’s book titled SHOUT IT FROM THE HOUSETOPS, authored by Jamie Buckingham. What I read showed me a genuine and vibrant believer in Jesus Christ.
🤎📀🍂GREAT AND DIVINE ACCELERATION
Much later, God raised him so high that, at the mere age of 47, his ministry was so large it employed about 2,500 people and earned as much as $158 million annually from just one of its investments. The young preacher and his wife had their own private jet, two Rolls-Royces, a Mercedes-Benz, and several homes.
🤎📀🍂A CATACLYSMIC FALL
Suddenly, all these tumbled down “overnight” because of a 15-minute sexual encounter with a girl who would later pose nude for Playboy magazine three times—showing to the whole world in broad daylight what the preacher was so hungry for that he would mindlessly fling away his ministry, reputation, marriage, family, integrity, and honour to enjoy for just 15 minutes!
A woman so bereft of self-worth that she could descend so low as to pose nude for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy is not worthy to sit near a preacher, let alone have the anointed man undress himself to sleep with her. Yet this precious preacher stooped so low as to have her for a mere 15 minutes, only to lose everything that had taken him years to build!
🤎📀🍂YOUR ROMANTIC ATTENTION IS SACROSANCT
The truth is, no person of the opposite gender other than your spouse is worth your romantic attention for one second!!!
And whenever you sense your attention or interest drifting towards a person of the opposite sex other than your spouse, know that it is Lucifer the Devil at work. He has come not to sift you like wheat as he did to Peter. No! He has come to skin you alive—and that in full view of the entire world!
🤎📀🍂FORBIDDEN FRUIT? NEVER!!!
The same devil tells everyone that adultery is a “forbidden fruit.” In other words, adultery is something good but God unjustly prohibits it. As usual, he is blatantly lying!
“Adultery,” “cheating,” “extramarital affairs,” “infidelity,” or whatever name you personally prefer to call it, is never “prohibited enjoyment.” You want to truly know what sex outside marriage is? Sex outside your marriage is highly concentrated poison. Like thallium sulphate—the colourless, tasteless, and odourless poison—adultery is an extremely deadly killer! Know this and run for your life every time you sense your heart or flesh being drawn to a person of the opposite sex who is not your spouse.
🤎📀🍂MANY YEARS AGO
Many years ago, my path crossed with a preacher I would call “Pastor XYZ,” who later became a bishop. By the time I heard him preach twice, I knew he was not your everyday preacher. His messages were purely the Word: powerful, concentrated, and compact.
🤎📀🍂AND THE TEENAGER CAME
With time, his ministry grew by leaps and bounds. Then a 16-year-old girl joined their church choir. She soon warmed her way into the favour of the preacher’s wife and became one of her favourite “daughters,” crooning “Mummy, Mummy.” She would sometimes spend nights in their home. The bishop and his wife saw nothing wrong with her closeness to their family. After all, one of the scriptural qualities of a bishop is that he must be hospitable(1 Timothy 3:2).
It was only after a while that the mother of the house noticed that her husband was becoming frozen towards their matrimonial bed.
🤎📀🍂THE GREAT ELOPEMENT
To the consternation of all, the bishop one day eloped with the girl! Sounds strange, doesn’t it? But it happened. The aftermath? The ministry nosedived, then collapsed—completely and irredeemably!
The bishop soon found, to his uttermost shock, that he had caught Human Papillomavirus (HPV) from the teenaged and innocent-looking girl. She looked young but had been sleeping with men of different sizes and ages for years. Gradually and slowly, the bishop ebbed away, dying in great misery and deep regret (Proverbs 5:11).
🤎📀🍂EVERY TIME YOU FEEL THAT TUG, RUN LIKE MAD!
Every time your heart is drawn to a man or a woman who is not your spouse, run for your life. See “Death” in that man or woman, no matter who they may be, how religious they are, or how many church or ecclesiastical titles they may parade. Run for your life!!!!
