🪙💡👑There is no old age in marriage. There never comes a time when it will become necessary to alter, remodel, modify or nullify some aspects of marriage because you have grown older. No! God designed marriage such that it has no validity limit or expiration date. Only one thing brings it to an end: Death. Until then, every component must remain intact. That’s why Father Abraham and Mama Sarah kept their bedroom life active until she died at the age of 127 years.
🪙💡👑AGE IS NO FACTOR IN MARRIAGE
Even more interestingly, there is no age limit for getting married for the first time or for getting married again after the death of a previous spouse.
💡In the Bible, we see Bachelors staying till the age of 40 before getting married. Not by force but by personal choice. Isaac married at the age of 40. Esau, who was a fornicator, was disciplined enough to stay unmarried until the age of 40. Jacob turned out be one of the Bible’s oldest bachelors. He set out to find a wife at the age 77 , laboured 7 years as dowry and finally got married, for the first time ever, at the age 84!
👑Moses the Prophet took a new wife, an Ethiopian woman, when he was over 80 years old.
💡Father Abraham became single again at 137 years of age, after the death of his soul mate and heartthrob, Sarah. When he was past 140 years old, he married a new wife, a young woman by name, Keturah.
👑Marriage knows nothing called “Old Age”. You need to know this so that you do not allow the devil’s suggestions, your own negative thoughts or ignorance-based feelings mislead you to ruin your marriage.
🪙💡👑CALEB THE AGELESS WARRIOR!
Our anchor verse shows the powerful self image of Caleb the son of Jephunneh. At the age of 80, with his hair virtually all grey, his view of himself wasn’t that of a senile old man who walks with the aid of a staff or a walking stick. Never! His mindset was completely different from that of most of the men his age. He thought of himself and saw himself as a super-energetic man of 40 !
💡Let’s hear him:
“As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.”(Joshua 14:11).
👑Wao! He boldly confessed that he was exactly as strong as he was 40 years earlier. Nothing had diminished, nothing altered and nothing weakened in his constitution as a man. He didn’t wait for God to voice it out for him because that’s not God’s role. He spoke, he confessed it, he voiced it out: he said it out loud in the presence of Joshua and the elders of Israel. He didn’t keep it as a pet secret in his heart. He was bold about it and said it publicly.
💡For you to know how deep seated his conviction about his strength was, hear what he said next:
“Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the Lord will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the Lord said.”(Joshua 14:12).
👑He was so sure of his strength as a warrior that he asked for the mountain of giants. And of course, it was given to him and he conquered the giants and possessed their land!
🪙💡👑THE SUN NEVER DIMINISHES, SO ALSO YOUR SEXUALITY
Marriage is a relationship of a Male and a female, of a Man and a woman. God created you with a compact and strong nature that’s loaded with the capacity to retain all the characteristics of your gender all throughout your entire life on earth. So, never believe that your virility and masculinity as a man gets altered or watered down because you are in your eighties, nineties or hundred. No.
💡God created the soil and it has remained so from the beginning until now. On it man grows food, harvests crops and billions are fed every year. And the cycle continues.
👑God made the Sun and it has been shinning continually and nonstop for thousands of years. Never blinks, never diminishes, no outages. The devil, as wicked as he is, has not been able to blow out its flames even for one second.
💡The same God Who made the soil and the sun made you in His image and likeness as a man or woman. So why should you think that your capacity to function as a masculine or feminine lover would diminish because you are now over 40 years of age? It’s odd, strange and weird as far as God is concerned. It’s a blatant lie from the devil and his cohorts.
👑Whatever book or author taught you that only lied to you. Like the Sun, your manhood or womanhood was created to keep functioning excellently till death. Don’t believe anything other than this because whatever you believe is what you will live and experience.
🪙💡👑A SPECIAL WORD FOR WIVES
And for wives, many of you view menopause as “the end of the road” as far as your love life is concerned. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The cessation of conception is never meant to be the sunset of feminine love life, beauty, romance, allure, charm, sparkle, passion, poise, affection, ladylike demeanour and sultriness. It’s actually the time to renew and reinvigorate them. It’s a time to flirt, chase and romance your husband anew -and that with panache!
💡 Yes, menopause announces the beginning of a new season of endless love. A season wherein the menstrual flow would never again pause or punctuate your mutual love affair. It’s a season for advance love, intensified romance and steamy sexual adventures with your husband: all within the boundaries of holiness.

Please, remember that marriage is not a career, profession, vocation, trade or a job. In all these, a time comes when you are retired, paid your gratuity and sent back home to live on monthly pensions. You are finally disengaged from the job you did for decades and have come to love. But no so in marriage.
👑In marriage, there are no breaks, holidays, annual leaves, sabbaticals or retirement. You have the liberty of enjoying your spouse, lover, sweetheart, heartthrob, darling, beloved, dearest, nearest, and honey until death separates you. What a privilege! Be thankful to God and make the most of it!!
